She licked her lips and took as much of him into her mouth as possible. She sucked on him hard while his legs shook as if he couldn't get enough of what she was doing.

He reached down and gently took his dick out of her mouth and pulled her up until she was lying on his chest.

"I need to be in you, Deja."

He held her up as she positioned herself over him, her body slowly lowered to take his thick dick into her pussy.

"You make me feel so tight."

"You are tight, camire. You fit me like a glove. I'm holding back right now as you lower yourself onto me. I don't want to hurt you, but I want you so badly."

His words came through his teeth. His canines grew a little, and the green of his eyes was so hot they could burn her. When she was finally seated with him deep within her, he placed his hands on her waist and began to move her up and slowly let her fall onto his dick. She gasped at the pleasure she was feeling. His eyes were on her, watching her, refusing to break contact as he made love to her, taking her to higher heights.

Her body shook when he began to meet her thrust. His dick was hitting all her sensitive spots. Still, he looked at her, staring at her as if he had never looked upon someone as beautiful as she was before.

Deja trembled; her body tightened as pleasure slammed into her. His strokes were shorter, more intense, hitting her just right. Her breath started to come in fast pants as her body tore apart, splintering from the feeling enfolding her. Pleasure, joy, complete and utter devastation took her, and she gladly gave herself up to it.

She was swimming in a sea of divine joy when she heard it. Not shouted to the world but whispered in her ear as if he was afraid someone would snatch her away. "I love you, Deja."

Hot tears poured out of her eyes and covered his chest. Deja rose up and kissed him.

He loves us!

What if we let him down?

What if we can't love him back?

That was her secret fear. What if her heart refused to love again? They all turned to look at love, but she wouldn't say anything. She just stared at Enzo.

She went to open her mouth, to say something, anything. Enzo placed a finger in front of her.

"I've waited centuries, Deja; I can wait a little longer." She nodded and fell asleep held tightly in his arms.

When she woke up, she was alone. The other side of the bed was cool, but she had felt Enzo kiss her before he slipped out of bed, saying he was going to talk to Ven. She slipped on a robe and went into the living room; the apartment was empty. Perfect, because she needed some time to herself. She went into the bedroom and looked into the full-length mirror Enzo put on the back of the door. She dropped the robe and looked at herself.

She saw every blemish, every bulge that she had tried to make disappear growing up. She saw everything that was wrong with her, real and perceived. Then she stopped, and she looked at herself the way Enzo looked at her, his eyes like flames and his lips wanting to kiss her. She saw a beautiful woman who had walked through the fires of her life and was still standing to talk about it.

As she stood there, she felt love, that unique feeling she never thought she'd feel again, wrapped around her heart.

For better or worse, love whispered. We love Enzo.

All the voices in her head cheered. They were never giving him up.

What about Ven?

He's our son, replied love. We're never giving him up.

Deja stared at herself for a long time in the mirror. The smile on her face and the joy in her eyes amazed her. It was a picture of happiness she wasn't familiar with, and she wanted to make sure she had memorized it.

Then she went to take a shower; she had a new employee starting today with a child. Good thing she had new teeth and deadly nails to help protect little Mia.

She was standing in the grocery store with a gallon of two percent milk in her cart and Google on her phone as she asked it what one-year-olds ate. Shouldn't this be natural? Didn't she have a maternal gene that turned on when she thought about children? Maybe it missed her. She took some of the suggestions and loaded up the cart.

Then she stopped by The Tike Depot and picked up a small bed for Mia to sleep on.

Her phone rang, making her jump; she wasn't used to anyone calling her.

"Hello?"
