“You're right,” Thomas says, his body language relaxing a little bit. “It seems we had more things we needed to talk about.”

“How about this? We’re going to shower, and you two are going to make us some food. Then we’re gonna all sit around the TV and eat because I hate sitting at tables. We can relax, watch a movie or a show, and talk a little bit more. How does that sound?”

The two Alphas look at one another for a second, sharing a look before turning to her. “Sounds good.”

“Good.” Violet lets go of my hand and walks over to Aiden. She leans up on her tiptoes, grabs the back of his head, and pulls him down to meet her halfway before crashing their lips together. Both of our Alphas let out a choked sound, and guilt hits me hard. Fuck. I should have known better. I should have told them what I was doing and where I was going. I didn’t think. I was tooexcited to spend the day with Violet. I might not have felt the same kind of pain they did by her absence, but I still hurt from her being gone. I still missed her beyond compare and my mind was consumed by her all the time as well.

So having her back, having her here with me, I’ve just been so happy. Too eager to spend time with her to make up for what we lost and to just be with her.

I didn’t think ahead. And for that, I was wrong. But I won’t be making that mistake again.

Thomas and Aiden surround Violet, trapping her between them. Closing their eyes, they place their foreheads together. Aiden grabs my hand, making me jump before pulling me into this little pack hug. A warm feeling settles over me. A sense of rightness.

“We’re sorry for shouting,” Aiden apologizes softly, placing a kiss on top of Violet’s head before pressing one to my temple. “We were just afraid.”

“I know,” Violet says as we all break apart. “And we’re sorry for not letting you know where we were. From now on, we will text or call if we’re going somewhere, and if it’s a place with shitty reception, we will make sure you know where we are too. Or maybe not go there without you.”

“Sounds like a deal,” Thomas says, smiling down at our Omega.

“Now, where are we on this food thing? Because I’m eating for two, and we're starving,” Violet says playfully.

Aiden chuckles. “Go shower. We will have everything ready by the time you're out.”

“Holding you to that, big guy,” she says, swatting his ass as she passes. Aiden’s eyes widen as he looks over his shoulder at her in mild shock.

I bite my lip, holding back a grin. There’s so much we have to learn about our new little Omega, and I know we’re going to love everything we find out.

“She’s perfect, isn’t she?” I ask them.

They look over at me. “Absolutely,” Thomas sighs happily. My love-sick fools. I don’t blame them because Violet captured my attention from the moment I laid eyes on her back at the store all those months ago.

“Where are you going?” Aiden asks me as Thomas heads into the kitchen.

“Gotta help our Omega wash her back.” I grin, grabbing the hem of my shirt. “Hard to reach back there.”

Aiden’s eyes darken as he chuckles. “Lucky bastard.”

I grin, shooting him a wink before taking off towards the bathroom.

By the time I step into the steaming bathroom, the shower is on, and I’m fully naked.
