Melody and Zander wish us all a good night and head to the back of the bus. Which I assume is the bedroom. There’s a huge lounge area where you first enter the bus and then a good-sized galley, with sectional seating and a round table. This bus is so big that I can’t see beyond. Jax must read my mind or see me straining my neck.

“C’mon, I’ll show you around a bit. There’s really not much to see but I’ll show you where we’re sleeping.” Grabbing my hand, he leads me past the kitchen. “This is our tiny little bathroom. And close your eyes. This is my bed.”

When he points to a bottom bunk that doesn’t look much bigger than him, I groan. “We can try cramming in there together or you could sleep on the top bunk.” Okay, so this might be the second thing that the girls didn’t warn me about. I should have known that the stupid bunk wasn’t going to be the size of a double bed. I don’t even think it’s as big as a twin for God sakes. It’s so disappointing, but I promised myself that I’d make the best of it.

“If it’s alright with you, I’d like to snuggle for a while and then I’ll jump up there so you can get some sleep. I’m sure you’re exhausted after a show like that. Which, by the way, was fucking amazing.” He stifles my enthusiasm with his mouth, and I just melt right into him. Not sure if we’re in anyone’s way and I really don’t care.

“I’d say get a fucking room, but this isn’t a hotel,” Ace smirks. Groaning, Jax breaks the kiss.

“Just kissing my girl is all. No need to get your panties in a bunch, Ace.”

“I’m not wearing any but thanks for asking. If anyone needs to pop a squat, do it now since I’m taking a shower and hitting the hay.” Ace looks down at me like all girls need to go on the drop of a dime. P-lease.

“I’m good, but thanks for asking. “He chuckles as he throws his towel over his shoulder and heads in the opposite direction.

“Let’s go camping, baby. You first.” Jax motions for me to crawl inside and I’m game if he is.

I scooch over against the wall, sucking in my breath so I’m as flat as a pancake. Obviously, my boobs don’t cooperate. After he slips in, he closes the curtain, shrouding us in darkness. Not going to lie, it feels like a tomb until he grabs me and slides me on top of him. Now this is more like it.

“I can use you for my blanket tonight, baby. How’s that sound?”

“You know I like being on top, so sounds good to me.” When his hand comes down on my ass, I shriek. Hey, not my fault since he startled me. “Jax, stop. Melody won’t be happy if we wake the baby.”

“Well then stop being such a naughty fucking girl and I won’t need to give you a spanking.”

I’m not sure who’s more turned on right now. Me or Jax. My clit is throbbing, and my pussy is soaked with my arousal.

“God, Aria, you’re fucking killing me. Now I wish I had fucked you in our dressing room before leaving the venue. I’m so desperate to be inside you.” Well, that’s out of the question but nothing wrong with a little third base action.

Jax moans when I plunge my hand down the front of his pants, taking him in my hand. And when he does the same to me, we work in tandem to see who’s going to make the other come first.

Jax wins! Zero complaints.

End of September

JAXON

This legof the tour is almost over, and you know what that means? Hell yeah, Aria and I will be officially married in less than forty-eight hours! And I love the fact that it’s not a destination wedding since we’re back in New York and our families don’t need to jump on a plane to get there. Well, a chosen few since some of them left their nests to live somewhere else, but they should all be coming in today. Our parents will be picking them up at the airport.

All our wedding invitations were sent, and the responses were phenomenal. So our quirky little unconditional wedding was a big hit, I guess you could say. We just need to get through today and the rest should be smooth sailing. The wedding reception is being held the day after since we’re having a late-night wedding. Then Aria and I will go on a mini honeymoon of sorts since we’ll only have three days before hitting the road again. Only this time around, we will be husband and wife. No matter how many times I have that thought, it just seems so surreal.

“You all set for the big day,” Zander asks as he slides into the seat next to me.

“More than ready. You all set to be my best man?” Scratching his head, he laughs.

“I must admit, this is about as quirky as it gets. But since you’re my best friend, I’m going for it.”

“I take back all the crap I’ve ever said about you, Zander. You’re a stand-up guy. And if you would have refused to be my best man, I would have understood.” Smacking me on the back, he gets up to leave.

“Sure, now you fucking tell me. Had I known earlier, I would have suggested you get someone else.” I know he’s joking but it’s all in fun.

“Not too late to change your mind, bro.” It’s a test, not a quest.

“I’m good, thanks. Besides, Mel would kill me if I let you make an ass out of yourself alone.” This right here is the reason Zander’s my best friend.

We have a concert tonight and another one tomorrow. Both in New York. How fucking cool is it that we’re back in our hometown? Caleb sure knows how to schedule a tour. I’ll give him that.
