“That’s not helping. I can play that game too.” He slides a finger inside me breathtakingly slow, and my back arches. My peaked nipples explode with heavenly sensations as they meet his chest.

“Ahh… that feels so good,” I whimper between heated breaths. My hips move in sync with the teasing pace of his finger. “Do you have a condom?”

He stiffens. “Fuck! No! I haven’t been with a woman in such a long time… Damn, Sky! If I knew this was how the evening was going to go, I would’ve been more prepared.”

“Have you been tested recently? I have, and I’m clean… and I’m on the pill. I’ve been on a mission to stay away from men, so it’s been a while,” I mutter quickly.

He chuckles against my skin. “Iama man, if you haven’t noticed.”

“Oh, I have. You’re just too hard to resist. Literally.” I squeeze his perfect ass. “Now please tell me you’re clean, because I saw something a lot bigger than your finger a few minutes ago.”

“Aren’t you impatient! We have all night. But don’t worry—I’m clean. I promise.” He teases me with two fingers now.

I squeeze my eyes shut and shake my head back and forth. “Oh, so good, but I need more.” My nerve endings will be fried by the end of this.

He pulls his hand away, then positions himself fully between my quivering legs. I open my eyes when I feel him at my core. His hooded gaze connects with mine as he slides slowly into me, filling me completely. One or both of us groan as he begins to move. I don’t really care because all I can focus on is how amazing he feels inside me.

Chapter 20

Julius

Her warmth that surrounds me is almost unbearable. The throaty sounds of pleasure escaping from deep within her urge me on. The moment we met, I knew my life would change, but I didn’t expect anything like this. This is more than I could’ve dreamed of. Before her, I thought I had everything I needed. I didn’t know she was missing, but here she is—the one I needed the most.

I turn us quickly so I’m on my back and she’s on top of me. The vision of her rocking against me and her face reflecting complete bliss makes me almost go over the edge, but I want this to last.

“Julius, I’m close.”

My hands stop her from moving. Her eyes spring open in surprise. I sit up and keep her in place so she’s straddling me and we’re face to face. “Not yet. Let me enjoy you just a little longer.”

“Connected to you like this is beyond anything I could’ve imagined.”

My mouth captures hers as I wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her flush against me. She wraps her arms around my shoulders, never breaking the kiss. My heart beats out of my chest and sweat trickles down my back. My hands travel down to her ass and we start to move in unison. Our kiss becomes so intense that I can hardly breathe, but I can’t stop. She rocks harder against me, and I can feel we’re close. I don’t want to let go, but it’s too intense.

She rips her lips from mine and the most beautiful sounds come out of her mouth as her body vibrates around me, taking me along with her. Flashes of light appear, and I swear I see color for the first time. Her colors.

We sit there, holding onto each other for dear life, as we slowly come down from our high. She relaxes her arms and leans back, then gazes at me like no other woman ever has. Like I’m her world. “Julius,” she whispers.

I push her wild hair away from her face and kiss her swollen mouth. “I know. There are no words to describe this. It’s like my life has just now begun.” What Skylar and I just did was far beyond sex. I haven’t been the same since I met her, my emotions and feelings are eternally changed. I hardly recognize myself when she’s with me.

“Everything is happening so fast, but I can’t slow it down. I don’t want to because I’m already yours,” she professes.

I close my eyes and drop little kisses above her heart. She’s either going to make me fall in love with her or she’ll kill me with her words.

“You’re the only woman who’s ever said that to me. Thanks for taking a chance on me.”

“Thanks for letting me. If it weren’t for Chance knocking me over, maybe I wouldn’t be here right now.”

“Let’s not think about it.”

The door closes behind us. The smell of fresh pizza fills the air as the elevator rises to the top floor. When we finally came out of the studio for air, we realized we were starving. Chance’s bladder was about to explode too, so we decided to take a quick walk and get pizza on the way home. And here we are.

“I don’t think I’ll ever look at a sheepskin rug the same way again. I’ll probably blush every time,” Skylar admits, then touches her cheeks. “See? I’m blushing right now.”

What I wouldn’t do to see what the blushing of her skin looks like. People say it’s a rosy color. Well, I might not be able to see the color change, but I know her face should be warm. I lean in and kiss her cheek… or at least try to with two pizza boxes in my hand. Yup.

“I don’t see it, but I can feel how warm your skin is.”

Her hand cups her mouth. “Shit. I’m sorry. I wasn’t thinking.”
