Courtney hugged the other woman. “I’m sorry.”

“That’s one of the reasons we’re swimming today,” Nia said. “Several of our daddies will be here, and she wants to pokehim.”

The girls laughed.

“You guys like teasing them?”

“Hell, yeah,” Sienna said.

“Don’t they get mad?” Courtney asked.

“Oh yeah, but in the best possible way,” Larkin said. “Come on, you guys. I hear a few of the daddies.”

“We can’t get in the swimming pool without at least one daddy here,” Nia explained.

Courtney wanted to cover herself when they walked out, but three men she didn’t know zoned in on the girls. She could feel their curiosity and tried to hide behind the girls.

Larkin just snorted and started to drag her to the pool. “Come on. You’ll get used to the daddies seeing you like this or naked.”

She shook her head. “No. Why would I do that? I don’t have a daddy.” Her anxiety rose as the girls looked at each other. “What’s going on?”

“Nothing,” Sienna said. “Let’s go.”

Courtney decided to ignore the men and enjoy being with the girls. She couldn’t ask for better friends.

Chapter Twenty

Ronin was pacing in his home office, waiting for callbacks from a few people, and it wasagonizing.

When his phone rang, he exhaled and answered it.

“Hey,” Darian said. “I know where she is.”

“Oh, fuck. Where?”

“She’s at Travis and Nia’s house swimming,” Darian said.

Ronin couldn’t believe he might be minutes away from seeing his little oneagain. “How did you find out?”

“Nia’s drivercalled on a few others, and then they told a few of the butlers, one being mine, about the girl he’d never met before that he was picking up at a hotel. I called Larkin and explained everything, and she promised to talk to the others and help you get your hands on her. Larkin started to protest at first, but I asked if they had pinky-promised, and she said no. She told me what Courtney had said and that when I talked about a little’s sensitive emotion,you were learning how to deal with one. I told her the last thing you wanted was to hurt Courtney.”

“Fuck,” Ronin said and squeezed the tension that had settled in the back of his neck. Thank God. “I’ll head over there now.”

“Sounds good. All the other daddies will be there. We figured if Courtney saw how we loved our women when wewere in front of others, it might help relax her. Travis also said you can use the private part of the pool. It’s behind a lot of vegetation and a waterfall. It’s cool.”

“I’d rather take her this first time close but not in sight of the rest of you. She’ll be able to hear you all but not see you at first.”

“They all get used to it after a while, but I agree. I wouldn’t push it this first time.”

“Thank you. I’ll see you there.”

“Yes.” Darian hung up.

Ronin didn’t waste another second. Hehurried to his car and drove to Travis’s. When he pulled into the driveway, several cars were already there, and a few drivers wereoff to the side talking.

Travis was waiting for him by the back patio door. “Hey, do you want to change into a swimsuit like the rest of us?”

“Yeah. That would be good.” He took the shorts from Travis and walked into a bathroom the other man had pointed at. When he came out, he strode to the door and walked onto the patio. Several of the men greeted him.
