Kyle held his hand out for a shake, and Mr. Jones accepted it. Together they drew in and hugged, a full minute passing by before they released each other.

"Is London at home?"

"She is."

"Do you mind if I stop by to speak with her for a moment?"

"I would love that. And, for future reference, you never have to ask me if you can stop by, whether it's to see your daughter or your son-in-law. Drop by anytime."

Mr. Jones smiled. "Thank you, son."

"And another thing. I want to apologize for not being here while you've been going through this madness. Being busy is no excuse. Family always comes first. I'll consider this a lesson learned."

"Oh, no, you don't have to say that."

"It wasn't as if I were alone, and the people there for me, I completely ignored. Seems counterproductive now that I've had a chance to talk to you and hear this psycho's excuses." Mr. Jones nodded. "Thank you for being here now. That's all that matters."

Kyle slapped Mr. Jones on the back, and they strolled to the door, exiting the room, then the facility.
