“Dare.”The look he gave me said I’d better make it good.
Oh,I planned on it.
Watching Hannah,I said, “I dare you to run naked around the pool.” He was out of the water and stark naked in seconds.
Hannah coveredher eyes with a squeal, her laughter pealing out. “My eyes.”
“That’s right. You’ll never look at me the same way again.” Ryland raced around the pool. The man had no shame. Like me, he enjoyed a challenge and wasn’t afraid to go for what he wanted.
Hannah snortedand peeked through her fingers. “Got that right.”
I didn’t haveto be a mind reader to know what she was thinking, what she was staring at.
“My turn.”Arthur smacked water toward me as Ryland dove back into the pool. He’d left his shorts in a pile on the concrete. His bare ass shone in the moonlight. Hannah dropped her hands to her lap and watched him. Admiration tipped her lips up in a half smile.
“Truth or dare, Arthur?”
“Truth.”
Of coursehe’d pick truth. I nearly rolled my eyes at him.
Hannah flippedonto her stomach and kicked her feet up in the air while propping her chin in her hands. “How many women have you slept with?”
Damn.Talk about a question worthy of a nondisclosure agreement.
Arthur’s frowndeepened to the point I thought he’d walk away and never come back. He met Hannah’s open curiosity with a non-wavering gaze and a flat tone when he answered, “Three.”
“Truth or dare, Hannah?”I interceded before we dipped into dangerous territory.
She tookher time looking away from Arthur and finding me. The pool lights kicked on, painting the world in shades of blue mixed with shadow. “Dare.” She said it so quietly I almost missed it.
We’d gone from cute and funny to sultry and intoxicating. Ryland’s flirtatious race set the tone for my dare, but I worried that Arthur’s deep truth ruined any chance of it working.
I had to try.
“I dareyou to kiss each of us.” I held up one finger to stop her when her mouth dropped. “And tell us who’s the best kisser.”

HANNAH
Iwaited for the punchline, for one of them to start laughing so I could join in on the joke.
Three expectant faceslooked at me. They remained far enough away and no one touched me, but I felt the heat emanating from their looks. It was a wonder the pool didn’t begin to steam and froth.
They wanted me.
It was an intoxicating thought, one that I pushed aside to evaluate the situation. Alcohol blurred my inhibitions, but even stone-cold sober, I knew an opportunity like this was outside my league.
My vision wobbled at the edges when I blinked. The flamingo floaty caught a ripple of water and pushed me closer to Scott. I hadn’t been this tipsy since the night I got pregnant with Liddy.
A relaxed feeling enveloped me,putting me at total ease among my three silver foxes. I giggled at my own thoughts. Silver Fox. I’ve always wondered what sex with an older man would be like.
That’s notwhat they offered, I scolded myself. They offered kisses. They offered me the chance to kiss each of them. The night air caressed my skin, and I shivered with delightful anticipation, the challenge in Scott’s voice seeping into the cracks and crevices I’d worked so hard to seal.
I slitheredoff the float and swam toward Scott. “You’re asking for a truth and a dare.” I waited a beat for my words to sink in. “I should get a bonus if I agree.”
“Done.”Scott mimed slamming a gavel against the water. “Anything you want.”
