She stands there, watching him for a few moments, and then finally spins around and slowly walks towards me.
"Everything okay?" I ask, wrapping my hand around her arm and pulling her against my chest, relishing in the feel of her body against mine. She nods in answer to my question before pullingme off to the side and away from the speakers that are blaring music.
"Yeah, just an overbearing cousin who wanted to make sure I was okay and not making any stupid decisions."
I chuckle and use my thumb and forefinger to tip her head so she's staring at me.
"So, he thinks dancing and getting close to me is a stupid decision?" I ask, raking my eyes along her face, taking in every beautiful inch whilst I can. This is the closest I've ever been to her, and I'm making sure to get my fill because I know I might never be close to her again after tonight.
"Yeah, he doesn't think I should be trying to get it on with some random guy tonight because there's a big change coming up in my life soon and he doesn't agree with my decision of finding a distraction for the night."
"A distraction, huh?" I force my brows to furrow as if I'm clueless and wondering what she may be talking about, when in reality, I know everything because I enlisted Miles' help to listen in to her conversations for the past two days and figure out exactly where she was going to be so I could purposefully cross paths with her before her dreaded wedding.
She lowers her gaze and nods. "My life's about to become quite complicated, hence why I've come out tonight. I wanted to celebrate some of my last few days of freedom and I wanted to find someone who could take my mind off of things, even if it's just for one night."
I raise a brow and smirk down at her.
"Well, I'll be happy to be your distraction if that's what you need, dolcezza," I drawl, leaning down and brushing my nose across her cheek as I speak. Her breath hitches and she clings to my arms as her head rolls back on her shoulders, her eyes alight with lust.
I watch her internally battle with herself for a few moments before she sucks her bottom lip into her mouth and nods her head.
"We, uh, we can't go back to mine, though," she says, eyes darting across my face as I lean closer to her.
"I couldn't wait that long anyway. I've got a key to one of the private back rooms here if that's good enough for you?"
Her cheeks blush and she brushes her plump lips against mine, placing the softest kiss against my mouth.
"Honestly, I'd happily let you take me right here on this dancefloor."
I capture her lips, swiping my tongue against them and I groan at the taste of her. I have dreamt about how she would taste for years, knowing it would be delicious, but my imagination hasn't done her justice. I grasp her face between my hands, holding her in place as our lips meld together and our tongues explore each other's mouths.
Heaven.
That's what this is.
I have the girl of my dreams in front of me, her lips on mine, her body coiled tight with anticipation, and a whole night ahead of us for me to worship her.
I reluctantly pull back, breathless and mesmerised. Sophia continues peppering kisses across my jaw and down my neck as her hands press against my chest and skim over every hard ridge of my body.
"Fuck," I grunt as her hands reach my belt and continue down their path. "Let's get off this fucking dancefloor." I pull her hand away from my waist and she whines, jutting her bottom lip out.
"But it was just starting to get fun."
Smirking at her boldness, I lean down and kiss the tip of her nose, winking at her.
"It'll get a whole lot more fun when we're behind closed doors, dolcezza."
Chapter Five
Sophia
He takes my hand in his, linking our fingers together, then turns and practically drags me behind him, pushing his way through the crowded dancefloor and towards the back of the club.
My heart is in my throat, my hands are sweaty and my mind is completely blown.
This man is a complete stranger to me and I'm just willingly following him to a back room in a club.
Am I mentally okay?
