Ryker’s damp body connects with mine as he wraps his arms around my waist and lifts my limp body, walking me over to the bed and laying me down beside Brad.

He tucks a sweaty strand of hair behind my ear, and his concerned gaze meets mine.

“Are you okay?”

A sated smile graces my lips.

“I’m really good.Thatwas really good. Tiring, but good.”

He smirks and leans in to kiss me. It’s soft and quick, yet it holds so much passion.

“I think we should all take a nap,” Brad mutters.

“I would agree, but I think we all need to clean up.”

Brad and I sleepily groan at Ryker’s suggestion and he laughs before lifting my body.

“I’ll help you shower, Pretty Girl. I won't, however, be helping him.”

“Dude, my balls were just in your face, and we made eye contact whilst fucking our girl. I think it’d be okay for you to shower me.”

Brad chortles when Ryker kicks his shin on the way past him.

After each of us has showered, it’s close to daylight outside. Not surprising considering I showered with both Brad and Ryker, separately, neither of them able to keep their hands to themselves.

Brad is lying on the bed behind me, his body curled around mine as his chest vibrates against my back each time he snores. Ryker’s the other side of me, his arm beneath my head and he too is asleep.

I’ve spent the last twenty minutes or so tracing my finger across the tattoo of my eyes on his inner forearm, admiring the attention to detail. Even though it’s not a coloured tattoo, you can see the brightness of my eyes. You can see the love, the innocence, and the vulnerability.

My gaze travels to the mirror opposite my bed, and I know that if I were to walk over to it and inspect my eyes, they wouldn’t look the same. They’re dull and haunted instead.

My phone vibrates against my desk, breaking me out of my thoughts.

I carefully pull myself away from Brad and Ryker, twisting my body in certain ways so I don’t disrupt their sleep. Then, I grab one of their t-shirts from the floor and slide it on.

I pick up my phone, seeing a missed call from Nate.

I glance at the sleeping hunks before quietly leaving my room and walking downstairs to call Nate back.

My phone rings twice and then he picks it up.

“Hey, Princess, did I wake you?”

I pick at my lips with my fingers, debating whether to tell him the truth or not. Would he be hurt if he knew what we’d done last night?

“Uh, no, I was already awake… Ryker and Brad came here last night and stayed over.”

“Okay, great. Well, I have some info from Dad, and I also miss you after not seeing you lately. Do you mind if I come round before college so that I can talk to you and the twins?” His tone is normal, and I can’t detect any underlying annoyance.

“Yeah, of course. I’ll make sure everyone’s awake for when you get here.”

“Great. I’ll still be about forty minutes, so no rush. I’ll bring clothes for Brad as well, and I’ll likely have Kat with me.”

“Okay.” I pace around the entryway as the line goes silent. “Are you okay?”

“Of course I’m okay. Why wouldn’t I be?” he asks, his confusion evident.

“I just thought you might’ve had a different reaction about Brad and Ryker being here.”
