I peek over my shoulder again. Cal is scratching out something he wrote with an aggressive amount of frustration. I smile, hoping he’s letting it all out.

I’m working with Jon and the label to book the next tour. Are you coming? Are babies on the road a thing?

That seems like something I should know the answer to.
