“You’re overthinking things, Charlie. I love you, and I want whatever will make you happy.” Gray pauses and gives me a moment to absorb those words, his smile growing as I flush. I suppose I knew he loved me, but it’s nice hearing the words said out loud. “You’re my female, and I like that you’re Silas’s, too. Were you upset to see me kiss him? Jealous? Angry?”

I shake my head, but I don’t elaborate. I’m sure they both can smell my arousal.

Gray reaches forward and gently pries my hands out from underneath my thighs. He ignores my clammy palms as he holds my hands within his.

“That’s how I feel when you and Silas are together,” Gray continues. “I’m not jealous, and I’m not angry. It makes me happy.”

Does it?

Silas leaves his chair and kneels in front of me. My face feels warm as he slowly takes my hands from Gray and clasps them between his. I hope he can’t feel just how sweaty they’ve gotten. I’ve been dreading having this conversation.

Silas’s lips twitch before he leans in. He moves slowly, giving me ample time to pull away, before pressing his mouth to mine. The kiss is slow, and I don’t put up a fight when Silas tilts his head to the side and deepens it.

Unlike our prior kisses, this one is unhurried. I don’t try to pull his hair as I’ve done in the past, and Silas doesn’t make any attempts to slide his hands up my shirt or into my pants. It’s nice, and Gray runs a comforting hand down my back to show his support.

Silas pulls away after a few seconds, but he doesn’t go far. He continues to kneel between my thighs, and I rest my hands on his shoulders as I wait to hear what he has to say.

“I’ll use the human terms,” he decides. “I want you to be my girlfriend, Charlie, and I want both Gray and me to be your boyfriends.”

Gray brings his hands together with a loud clap, and I can’t help but crack a cheesy smile. He truly isn’t upset by this?

“There’s obviously a lot we’ll need to figure out, but I’m excited to see where we go,” Gray says, pulling me into his lap.

His chest presses against my back, and he holds me in a tight hug as he peppers my cheek and neck with kisses.

Silas chimes in. “We’ll tell you if anything you ever do makes us upset. Don’t worry.”

Gray makes an odd noise in the back of his throat as he gets a strand of my hair in his mouth, and Silas chuckles as he reaches forward and pushes my hair aside. Being between the two of them is intimidating, and I don’t know what to do with my hands as Silas leans in and connects his lips to the side of my neck Gray was just mindlessly kissing.

Fuck.

I shiver and drop my head against Gray’s chest. This is not how I anticipated this conversation going, but I’m not complaining.

A second pair of lips find my neck, and I clench my thighs together.

Gray and Silas kiss my skin, and I instinctively jerk my hips when I feel their lips meet. They kiss, using me as an excuse, and I let out a quiet moan as Silas drops a hand to my thigh. His fingers twitch against my skin before he pulls away, and I take great pleasure in seeing just how frazzled he looks.

For once, the poised, in-control fate is out of his element.

“Do you want to be my girlfriend, Charlie?” Silas asks.

Warmth pools in my lower belly as I give a jerky nod.

Silas squeezes my waist. “Then it’s settled.”

What?

“That’s it? I’m your girlfriend now?” This was too easy. “And what about you and Gray?”

Silas glances at Gray, but neither jumps in to answer. I once asked Silas if he intended to bond with Gray and Aziel when they found their female, and he skirted around the question. It seems to be a point of contention between the two, but I figure now’s a good time to ask.

The silence stretches, and after a few seconds, Gray reaches around me and cups Silas’s cheek. Silas licks his lips, and I resist the urge to laugh as Gray takes that as an invitation to run his thumb across them.

“What about me?” Gray asks, his voice low.

His hold on Silas’s cheek is intimate, and Silas seems to melt under it as he gulps and tilts his head back. He’s struggling for an answer, but Gray doesn’t push.

“We can take it slow,” Gray promises.
