“Hey, hey, hey, save the best for last,” he said with so much swag it was almost impossible to scold him.

“You’re late,” Sheyna told him.

“My bad. You know my fans always need me.”

Remy was known as Dr. Feelgood. He loved the ladies as long as the situation “feels” good, but the second one tried to put on the chains, he was off to the next beautiful honey. Remy was the co-host of the nationally syndicated radio program,He vs. She, which millions of listeners heard across the country. He was all about dating and loving life as a bachelor. A committed relationship was the last thing Remy wanted.

“Sorry, cuz. I got off the air a little late. My coworker was giving me a hard time about tonight. I think she’s showing up just to make fun of me.”

“I think there will be quite a few folks coming here tonight to make fun of you,” Bianca said, thinking about London and the J’s.

“Yeah, they were also giving me a hard time at work all day,” Chavis said and scowled.

Bianca gave a dismissive wave. “Just ignore all of them,” she said, especially since she had heard nothing but good things from her staff anxious to bid on him.

Sheyna clapped her hands. “It’s time to get ready.”

Danica handed Remy a schedule. “Here’s a list, so you’ll know the order tonight.”

“Be ready and listen,” Sheyna said, addressing the group again. “When it’s time, I expect you to walk out on that stage and show these women why you are one of our twelve bachelors.”

Remy raised his hand and said, “How about we make this night more interesting?”

Rush’s brow rose. “What do you mean?”

Bianca groaned. Her cousin loved a challenge.

“What I mean is…” Remy paused, and there was no mistaking the mischievous smirk on his lips. “I bet I can draw more money than anyone of you.” His antics caused an uproar. Everyone was talking at the same time. Bianca gave Danica a weird look, and they both started laughing.

“Leave it to your cousin,” she mumbled.

“I’m serious. I bet all of you, let’s say $300, I generate more money than you do.”

Trace cried out, “If you’re feeling that froggy then let’s make it five.”

“Whoa, wait a minute little cousin. Tonight, is not about you and your ego,” Bianca muttered darkly.

“She’s right. It’s not about us,” Rush said with a scowl. “If we agree to this challenge, let’s raise it to $500 and all the money from this wager will be donated to tonight’s cause.”

Remy gave a saucy grin. “C’mon now. You know Remy loves the kids.”

Bianca gave a rude snort and said, “He also loves the women.”

The youngest son, Remy, was so handsome she could see why the women fell at his feet. Tall and toasted brown, he took after their mother with his Samoan features. He had a broad nose, high cheekbones, and wore his long shoulder-length hair pulled back with a band. Remy was a piece of work.

“Okay, well, if it’s all for charity, you’re on.” Leaning over, Rush gave him dap.

Trace even joined in. “I like the sound of that. Add another $500 to the pot.”

“Me too,” Chavis cosigned.

All the other bachelors agreed.

Remy glanced around proudly. “And once I win, I’ll donate six grand to the cause.”

“And if you lose?” Sheyna muttered.

“Every dollar will come out of my pocket, but I won’t lose,” he added with a wink.
