Shots were lined up across the bar, whiskey in each one, minus the shot glass in front of Mara which was filled with soda. Muffin stepped out of the kitchen and pointed at Mara.

“Is it safe to make a bun in the oven joke?” Muffin asked.

That got a hollering round of applause. Mara laughed, unable to comprehend the fact that these gigantic, evil outlaws were laughing at a stupid joke.

Cyrus slapped his hand to the bar and it sounded like a summer thunderstorm.

“We raise our glasses tonight for the future of this club,” Cyrus bellowed. “If Mara gives birth to a son, he will carry our code. He will be an outlaw prince. Possibly a king in the making. If she gives birth to a daughter, then God save the world around us because that princess will be protected and grow to learn how to be fierce. We properly celebrate tonight. The beginning of anew chapter for this club. And we remember the ones we’ve lost and the one in a coma right now, fighting.”

“He will be back at this bar in no time!” Linc yelled.

The entire place erupted with cheers and screams and then a chant for Priest. Mara lifted her shot glass of soda and whistled. Everyone looked at her.

“If it’s a boy, we’re naming the baby Priest!” she called out.

“The fuck we are!” Darrow growled.

All the outlaws began to hoot, cheer and scream some more. In all honesty, neither Mara nor Darrow had ever seen the clubhouse like this before. Cyrus gave a call and downed his shot first. Then everyone did the same.

Cyrus then threw his head back and started to scream something. It was growling and inaudible, ending with him spinning around and throwing up. Projecting all over the wall and then stumbling to his left, hitting another wall, putting a hole in it.

“He’s going to be hurting tomorrow,” Mara said to Darrow.

“It’s not a good thing at all, babe,” Darrow said. “It’s one thing for the enforcers to get nuts. Or even the prospects. Hell, everyone around here has had a moment. But for Cyrus to act like this? It’s not good.”

“Hey,” Mara said, grabbing at Darrow’s leather cut. “I’m pregnant. With your baby.”

“Yes, you fucking are, babe.”

Darrow touched Mara’s chin. Behind them, Slade and Monte put Cyrus on a pool table. Skylar volunteered to keep an eye on Cyrus all night.

Every dead drunk outlaw needed adeeceeto suck their cock and make sure they didn’t choke on their own vomit. Maggie hurried to pour more shots. Muffin went back into the kitchen where Bee was waiting, sitting topless on a stainless steel countertop.

Muffin took his apron off, put on his leather cut, licked his lips, and went up to Bee, stared down at her, then cupped her nice sized tits in his large hands. A minute later she was on her knees, sucking his cock.

Just as her lips moved over Muffin’s fat cock head, Darrow took Mara’s hand and led the way out of the clubhouse. Outside, just as Darrow climbed onto his ride, Drix approached.

“Let me follow you, Darrow,” he said. “It would be my honor. To make sure you and your unborn are safe. And your woman, of course.”

Darrow didn’t need fucking protection but he appreciated the gesture of respect. He nodded at Drix. Darrow rode first. Drix followed behind. They made it about halfway back to Darrow’s place without any issues. Then lights appeared behind Drix.

Darrow saw them first. Two motorcycles, riding side by side. They moved fast, catching up closer by the second. Darrow gritted his teeth. He had his pregnant woman behind him, her arms wrapped tight around his body. Drix finally caught wind that something was happening. He looked back.

“Fuck,” he growled to himself.

He and Darrow then had the same thought.

Protect Mara and the unborn baby… and kill whoever was following them.

Ten Below Zero

Darrow made a quick right into a parking lot with a liquor store, a laundromat, and a tattoo parlor. He felt Mara grip at him tighter, wanting to know what was going on. Drix followed Darrow. The two motorcycles behind Drix made the same move, proving to Darrow they were definitely being followed.

Darrow rode around to the back of the building. When he stopped, he climbed off his ride, almost tossing Mara to the ground. He caught her. “You need to hide somewhere. We’re being followed.”

“What?” Mara asked.
