I grinned, then muttered, “Caveman.”

He winked, “Only like that with you.”

I grinned, “Let them back in.”

He winked, “Yes, ma’am.”

Once he gave the order, everyone filed in, and all their eyes were on the two of us.

Priest marched over and asked, “So, are you two finally together?”

I smiled down at Asher. He lifted a brow, and I knew he was waiting for my answer.

I grinned, “Yeah. He’s mine.”

Priest whistled, then said, “It’s about fucking time.”

“Shots. We gotta celebrate this shit. Our Pres. finally found a woman worthy of his cantankerous ass.” Trigger boomed.

Pagan was behind the bar pouring shots.

Stoney brought two over to Asher and me.

With the shot glass in his hand, he winked at me, “Here’s to me breaking my back to make sure you never regret your decision here tonight.”

I smiled, then lifted my shot glass to his, “And here’s to me being your quiet place in a crazy storm.”

I watched as he took in my words, swallowing as he did so, and then he was crushing his lips to mine.

I drank in his kiss.

I reveled as his tongue swept along to mine.

We were both breathless when we separated.

With our clink of glasses, we both downed our shot.

Minutes later, his hand was still running through my hair while his other hand was rubbing up and down my back.

And just like that, I fell asleep.

What I didn’t know was that once Asher surmised I had done this, he had called out to have the music lowered.

Since Asher had become mine and I had become his, I was smiling from ear to ear these days.

It’s been three weeks.

Three weeks of kisses and stolen touches.

And as the days passed, I was getting even closer to closing that final gap between us.

And giving him all of me.

Because you can bet your sweet behind that, I wanted all of him.

It was only fair, after all.
