“Fuck,” he bit out, pulling his mouth from mine as he came on my hand.

He dropped his forehead against mine, his breathing labored. I couldn’t stop grinning at how I’d made him unravel. It was only fair, he did the same to me.

I should have known we’d be explosive, and I planned to enjoy every minute of it. I was sure I could keep my heart safe.

“I don’t think I can move,” he said.

“My work here is done,” I said with a laugh.

“My work is definitely not done,” he said, kissing my jaw. “But we should clean up.”

I glanced around the bus, grateful that no one had caught us, but I wasn’t going to tempt fate any longer—at least not this morning.

“I’m getting in the shower before anyone wakes up.” I lifted myself off of his body to stand.

“I cannot wait to have you all to myself for more than just a quick hotel night,” he grumbled, reaching for a tissue to clean himself up.

“I don’t even care if it only has one bed,” I said, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. Then I darted away from his touch and headed to the bathroom, wishing that our next extended hotel stay was coming up sooner than three days.

We were staying in a hotel tonight in Dallas, but we’d get there at like three in the morning, exhausted, and pass out for a few hours before we had to be up for media and sound check.

Definitely not enough time to fully enjoy each other’s bodies like we had in LA.

So, yes, I was counting the days until we had more than one night in a hotel together.

Three days of random, quick hookups until we got to New Orleans.

We’d be dying by then, but the anticipation made all parts of my body tingle.

JOSH

“Group pic,” Jax yelled out right before their meet and greet was scheduled to start.

“It’s the same background every time. Why do we keep doing this?” Tristan asked.

“Because we’re documenting our journey. Our tour. It’s for my scrapbook, dammit,” Jax said.

Bash shook his head. “Like you scrapbook.”

“I mean, I could. I’m just so busy being the face of the band,” Jax said, batting his eyes.

“Okay, children, let’s take a quick picture to appease him,” Charlie said, stepping up next to me. Her scent surrounded me, and all I could think about was this morning on the bus.

When the bus had pulled into Austin earlier, I still hadn’t fully recovered from having her hand down my pants, gripping and squeezing my cock.

And how unexpected it’d been. Fuck, I was going to get hard thinking about it. Not that I wasn’t already in a semihard state when she was around.

I constantly wanted her, and I was nowhere near done with her, but now we had to wait again. Pulling her into the back bedroom was a constant fantasy, but she was right. There was no way the guys wouldn’t see right through that, and then I’d have to explain why our fake marriage wasn’t completely fake.

At least in the fucking department.

“Hey CH, get over here,” Jax said, pulling me out of my lust-filled thoughts.

“Why?” I asked.

“Because you’re family and part of this band. Even more now that you’re hitched to Charlie.” Jax grinned at me.

What was his angle?
