“I’ll bring the most important band member back in a minute,” Josh said, dropping his hand from my elbow and linking his fingers with mine, pulling me from the studio room.
My belly fluttered, and my cheeks heated as I followed him.
“Ew. Keep it PG,” Jax yelled. “We have an album to record.”
We ignored him and walked up the stairs to the first level.
He spun me, pressing me against the nearest wall. “First.”
And then his lips were on mine, his hand squeezed my hip, and his tongue swiped against the seam of my lips.
I parted immediately, gasping as his tongue invaded my mouth. I curled my fingers into his shirt and hung on as he kissed the hell out of me. I should probably care that he was trying to distract me about going to LA without telling me, but for some reason, all thoughts vanished from my mind. Only kissing remained.
I hitched my leg up, curling it around his thigh as I pressed myself against his hard cock. I rubbed against him, chasing the friction I desperately needed, as I swallowed his groan. He broke our kiss, nibbling along my jawline before licking the spot behind my ear in the way that drove me crazy. I curved my body into his, getting as close to him as possible without actually climbing him.
“Fuck, Charlie,” he murmured against my skin.
“I know you’re trying to distract me, but I don’t care.”
He chuckled, sending vibrations rocketing through my body.
“You’re constantly distracting me,” he whispered in my ear.
I shuddered.
“Another minute and then we’re talking,” I said, my hands cupping his jaw and bringing his mouth back to mine.
His husky laugh turned into a groan as I rolled my hips again.
I was addicted to his mouth. His tongue.
His everything.
He finally broke the kiss, and I whimpered from the loss.
“As soon as you’re done here today, we are going to go fuck on every surface in your apartment,” he growled.
“I’d leave now, but my manager is a total dick and is making us work long hours to record this stupid album,” I teased.
He smirked. “He sounds awful.”
“So awful,” I murmured, giving him another quick kiss. “Okay, tell me about LA.”
“I was planning to tell you later today, but I have to get back to my office. I know it’s a mess and Screaming Vikings’ tour starts up next week. I need to go through everything and make sure it’s all set. I’d take you with me, but again—album,” he said.
“I know. So, are we long-distance dating now?” I asked, hating the nerves that popped up at my question.
“I shouldn’t be more than a week or so. I know you’re here and my house and office are in LA, but we’ll figure something out. Don’t think this is me giving up so easily on us.” He tugged on one of my strands of hair that had come loose while he was consuming my mouth.
“Good, because I’m nowhere near done with you,” I said, staring up at him.
Pretty sure I was never going to be done with him and that both thrilled and scared me.
JOSH
I’d been in LA for almost a week, and I was ready to go back to New York.
Back to Charlie.
