“Pretty sure you started that kiss.”

He grinned. “Shall I try again?”

“Go cook, mister. And if you burn the bacon, I’m out of here.”

“That was delicious.”

“And now we get to go back to bed and pick up where we left off last night,” he said, tugging her off the barstool and into his arms.

She laughed. “No. I have to go home, remember. Work. Studying. No more sexing today.”

“But we haven’t even done it today,” he teased.

“Yes we did. At two a.m. That counts as today.”

“Semantics,” he muttered.

“I can’t believe I’m about to do the walk of shame,” she said.

“No you aren’t. You’re leaving your boyfriend’s home in his shirt. Come to think of it, we should have more sleepovers.”

“What?”

“Oh, like you don’t want to?” He wiggled his eyebrows at her and she laughed. God. He loved that sound. It took everything in him not to drag her back into bed.

“Please.”

“Okay,” he said, crowding her.

“No. Ugh, you’re the worst. I have so much studying to do. I’m so behind. And this—” she paused, waving her hand between them “—is not helping.”

“Seemed to put you in a good mood last night. And this morning.”

“Oh my god, you don’t stop, do you?”

“My stamina is epic.”

She rolled her eyes and he tugged her back into his arms. “I know you have to go, but we had fun, right?”

She nodded in agreement.

“Maybe we can add this to our arrangement. Fun, stress-relieving sex until whenever we want it to stop.”

He could act blasé about it, but part of him—an ever-growing part of him, but not that part of him—didn’t want it to end.

It was way too soon to feel that way.

“I know I said it was a good idea last night.”

“It is. Come on. You know you want this. And I sure as fuck want you. That should’ve been clear last night, and this morning, and I’ll prove it to you again right now if you want.”

She let him tug her against his chest, and he knew he had her.

“Orgasms are great stress relievers.”

“I’ve heard that before,” she said, and he felt her grin against his chest.
