As we pull up to Landon’s favorite place, I am awed by the sheer beauty of this place.
The large rock sitting out in the middle of the water, waves crashing against it, the sun high in the sky, reflecting off the surface.
Together, we unload the bag full of food, pull out a blanket to sit on, and make our way down to the beach. As soon as my feet hit the sand and the ocean breeze fills my senses, I instantly feel at peace.
“Told you this place was beautiful,” Landon says, a big smile on his face as he lays the blanket down and holds out his hand so I can take my shoes off without falling on my face.
Before sitting down, I kiss his cheek and start laying out the food, my stomach growling as soon as the smell of Shelly’s chocolate chip cookies hits me.
“Let’s eat. I’m starving, then can we go for a walk?” Landon asks as he sits down.
I excitedly nod and sneak a cookie. Because damn, these things are good.
Hand in hand, we walk along the beach and stop to stare out at the waves.
“Allie, I have a question for you?”
“Yeah?” I ask, looking up at him.
His hand moves to cup the side of my face, his face unreadable. “I’m not good at words, but I know how to care and be there for the people that matter the most in my life. So forgive me for notbeing the best at this, but I wanted to know if it would be okay if I called you my girlfriend.”
My sweet man. Butterflies fill my stomach as I wrap my arms around his neck, standing on my tiptoes. “That was adorable and just know I will never let you live it down for the rest of our days.” Landon bows his head and I move it back to look at me. “Of course you can. You are my person, Landon, and I want to be yours. I would be honored if you to called me your girlfriend.”
Pulling me closer, if that’s possible, he smiles and presses his lips to mine, lifting me off my feet.
When he pulls away, he flashes me a devious grin, and looks out to the water, then back at me.
Immediately, I know what he is about to do and point my finger in his face. “Don’t even think about it,” I say, taking a step back. He follows me, his hands reaching for my waist.
I spin on my heel and sprint down the beach, Landon right behind me, laughing loudly.
Just as I think he’s given up, I spin around as his hands grip my waist. “Caught you. Now I think it’s time for a swim.” He doesn’t let me speak before tossing me over his shoulder and sprinting into the ocean.
I barely make it five feet in the house when Landon spins me around and presses me against the door.
Pressing his head against mine, “Stay with me tonight. Please.” His hands grip my sides and I can hear the desperation in his voice.
“Yes.” The word barely leaves my mouth before he picks me up and carries me to his bedroom, his lips never leaving mine.
He tosses me on the bed and like a madman has me stripped before his lips are all over my body as if he is marking every inch as his.
“Landon please. I need you.”
His eyes darken as he removes his clothes at a leisurely pace and moves to stand at the edge of the bed. “What do you need?”
“You.” My voice is desperate, but I don’t care. I need to feel him inside of me.
Landon moves to crawl over me, his erection sitting on my stomach as his hands thread through my wavy hair.
“You have me. Always have. Always will.” Slowly, he inserts himself into me and I groan at the fullness.
“What do you need?”
“Move.” I beg.
A sexy smirk spreads across his face. “Like this?” He rolls his hips and my eyes roll back, his mouth attaching to my neck and sucking hard.
“Yes. More.”
