“You’re still shivering, sweetheart.” Garrett turned and reached for the buttons on my flannel. “Let’s get you out of these wet clothes.”
I didn’t protest because I was pretty cold and the air from the heater wasn’t really making it through. Ryker took off his flannel and then shimmied out of his jeans.
“Are you three really stripping down naked in the backseat without me? We’ll be home in like ten minutes.”
“Focus on driving so you don’t get pulled over.” Ryker reached down and slipped off my shoes and socks, wrapping a hand around my foot. “Your feet are freezing.”
My shoes were made of canvas, which wasn’t very good for the rain. I lifted off the seat and had to practically peel my jeans off with how they clung to me. There was nothing worse than wet jeans.
“Come here.” Ryker pulled me into his lap sideways facing Garrett and rebuckled the belt around both of us. It wasn’t the safest thing to do, but neither was freezing.
“Well, isn’t this just cozy?” I cuddled against Ryker’s chest as Garrett took off his own pants and scooted to the middle seat, my legs across his lap.
“It’s nice.” Ryker kissed my shoulder and I shuddered. “Are you sure you’re okay?”
I pulled away enough to cup his cheek and look him in the eyes. “It was perfect. Just what I needed.” I kissed the cheek that didn’t have a melting bee on it and then moved my lips to his ears. “I can still feel you between my legs.”
“Did you know it was me?” He pushed some strands of loose hair behind my ear.
“Not until the end. You guys were right. I was too amped up to pay attention to specifics. Plus, it was just dark enough that I couldn’t see that much.” I sighed happily as Garrett rubbed his hands up and down my legs. “I would love to be tied up and blindfolded.”
Garrett’s hands stopped for a moment before moving once more. “That takes a lot of trust.”
“I can see it now… me blindfolding myself and lying on a hotel bed. Someone coming in but I don’t know who. Eventually, all three of you would be there.” I sighed and put my head against Ryker’s chest.
They’d opened my eyes to entirely new ideas I’d never even thought I’d be into. Garrett was exactly right; it did take a lot of trust, and I trusted them more than I’d ever trusted anyone.
But that was exactly what happened when you truly loved someone. Or in my case, three someones.
Chapter27
Office Rat
Paige
Working for LRG was one of the best things that could have happened to me. Not just because I worked closely with the three men I had very intense feelings for, but because it kept me on my toes and my mind occupied.
I’d thought I wanted a boring job that was the same thing day after day, but now that I was really in the swing of things, I couldn’t imagine sitting at a desk all day doing data entry.
Things had been different between the four of us since our Hampton weekend trip. There was a closeness that had developed that wasn’t there before and a happiness that I hadn’t realized was missing not just from me but from the three of them.
There was no explanation for the intensity of feelings I felt other than I’d met the ones I should spend the rest of my life with.
Of course with that came the doubt that they felt the same way and wondering how that would work. We wouldn’t be able to get married and what would happen down the road when we wanted to have children? Did they even want children?
I finished writing my sticky notes to each of them and stuck them on the folders I’d prepared with an agenda and the proposed contract with the Badden brothers.
It seemed like a done deal with the country’s leading sports equipment and apparel company, but things could always fall apart at the negotiating table. I’d seen it happen enough times to know that until the ink was dry on the page, anything could go wrong.
I couldn’t find much about the Badden’s legal counsel since they had their own team that worked in-house for them, just like LRG did.
The guys were already in the conference room preparing for their ten o’clock meeting. If things went to plan, they’d be done by late afternoon, but if not, negotiations might go into the evening.
I grabbed the folders I’d prepared, along with a bowl of treats, and walked down the hall to the main room. I knocked and when I heard a ‘yeah’ I entered. “Good morning.”
I hadn’t seen them since they’d left Luca’s at the crack of dawn. We’d been rotating to each of their places every few days, except mine for obvious reasons. I hadn’t stayed in my own place all week.
“Good morning, Paige. You look cute today.” Garrett looked up from his laptop, a smile spreading across his handsome face. “Candy?”
