I pulled back from the kiss, my lips tingling, and my breath coming out in ragged gasps. Her eyes were full of desire, but I didn’t know if I wanted an audience the first time I was with her. If I didn’t stop kissing her, that was exactly what we’d have.
A shuffling noise came from behind me, and Luca came to the side of us, cupping Paige’s cheek and turning her head toward him. He kissed her right there in front of me, and fuck, it made my dick stir even more. It wasn’t going to be easy to hide my hard-on in the shorts I was wearing.
She still had that damn bottle in her hand, and I grabbed it from her, stepping back to give them space and to put the champagne on the bench.
Ryker stood watching, which was new for him. He’d never liked to watch before, which was why we’d had the arrangement we did. But Paige was different. I think we knew that from the moment we saw her on her knees.
Luca had his arm around Paige’s waist as they continued to kiss, and my jealousy flared up. I couldn’t help but feel like an outsider even though I’d just kissed her myself.
I needed to get past this feeling if we were going to give this a chance. I stepped closer to them and ran my fingers up her arm.
She broke her kiss with Luca and turned her face toward me again. I leaned in and kissed her, my tongue pushing at the seam of her lips. She opened for me, and I groaned as our tongues brushed against each other.
“I think I hear someone coming,” Ryker interrupted. “Down the hall.”
While I liked the thrill of almost getting caught, there was a time and place for that and now wasn’t it. I wanted this moment all to us.
Paige pulled away first, her lips swollen and her eyes heavy-lidded. “Wow.”
“You got that right.” Luca stepped back just as the door on the other side of the gym opened and the captain walked in.
He stood there for a second and looked between us, one of his eyebrows lifting. Seeing as we’d had some wild parties on the yacht, he didn’t seem too shocked. “Sorry if I’m interrupting, sir. Cynthia said you were in the gym. I need to know if you’ve decided if we’re staying on the Hudson or going out to sea.”
Paige’s head whipped in Luca’s direction so fast her ponytail whacked me in the face. “Out to sea?”
Why did she seem so surprised? Had Luca also left out that he’d planned to make this an overnight trip?
“Well, that’s up to you.” Luca took one of her hands and brought it to his lips. “We can just cruise the Hudson and stay through dinner, or we can go out in the Atlantic and sleep on board.”
“I didn’t bring anything.” She looked down at herself.
The captain cleared his throat. “Ma’am, we have laundry on board and personal care items in most bathrooms. Anything you need, we can order to be brought to us.”
Paige’s mouth opened. “Like someone gets in a boat and delivers it to the yacht?”
I put my hand on the small of her back, sensing her uncertainty. “We can go out to sea and then if she decides she doesn’t want to spend the night, we can use the boat to come back. Unless you’re scared of the ocean.”
She snorted. “I’m not scared of the ocean, just surprised is all.” She looked at Luca again, and I caught her glare in the mirror.
“Then we’ll be on our way. Perfect weather for a quick overnight trip out.” The captain extended his hand to Luca for a handshake and then went back through the inner hallway to the bridge of the yacht.
“This could be considered kidnapping, Luca.” Paige turned toward him, her hands going to her hips. “You have some explaining to do.”
“I didn’t see any cement bricks when we got on board. I think we’re all safe.” Ryker finally moved from the spot he’d been glued to, leaning in and kissing Paige’s cheek. Was he all modest now? Maybe being around his sister had rubbed off on him.
Luca rolled his eyes and snatched the champagne bottle from the bench. “It’s a big boat, Ryker. I could have them stashed anywhere to use when you least expect it.”
Ryker leaned in again and kissed Paige’s neck before whispering in her ear loud enough for both me and Luca to hear. “I plan on punishing you for leaving without saying goodbye yesterday.” He bit her earlobe, and she shuddered, her breath hitching.
I crossed my arms, wanting to steal her away from them and be alone together. They’d both been inside her and yet I’d only kissed her.
Did I feel like a petulant child? Yes, but I couldn’t help but feel like I was the odd man out. What if when we did finally sleep together, it wasn’t up to par with what she wanted? Would she go back on what she said about wanting us all?
“Perk up, Gary.” Luca nudged me with his elbow. “We might see your friends while we’re out at sea.”
“Gary?” Paige turned to us, putting her back against Ryker’s chest.
I sighed, shutting my eyes in frustration. “Can we not.”
