Garrett chuckled. “You and fucking cannoli.”

“Okay, Mr. Life Changing Pastrami.” I looked over my shoulder as Ryker entered the room. For once he didn’t look uncomfortable in his tuxedo. “And Mr. Where’s My Cardigan.”

“Maybe you should try a cardigan sometime, you might like it.” Ryker grabbed his glass. “How am I the last one ready to go?”

I shrugged. “It doesn’t take much when you’re already good-looking.”

Garrett laughed, shaking his head. “You willing to tell Paige that when she’s ready?”

He had me there, so I raised my glass to my two best friends for a toast. “To a long-lasting friendship that has been through some tough times but come out the other side stronger.”

We clinked our glasses together and all turned to look out the window. I took another sip of my scotch, the feeling of warmth spreading throughout my body. I wasn’t sure if I’d finally had enough scotch or if it was because everything was falling into place.

For a while, I hadn’t been sure our friendship would make it. We’d really been starting to struggle; fighting more and not wanting to be around each other. But now I couldn’t think of any better way to spend my time than with Garrett, Ryker, and Paige.

As if on cue, Paige’s heels clicked on the floor, and we all turned.

My breath caught in my throat as I took her in. The curve of her hips and the swell of her breasts made my pulse race. She hadn’t shown me the dress she’d ended up going with, and now I was glad because I would have ripped it right off of her in the dressing room.

She radiated confidence as she walked across the room, the burgundy material parting to show her right leg every time she stepped forward.

“What do you think?” She stopped in front of us and spun around, giving us a full view of how stunningly beautiful she was.

“Hot damn.” I threw back the rest of my scotch.

Garrett grabbed her around the waist, pulling her to him. “I think you have some mustard right here.” He kissed right at the V in her neckline, and she giggled, swatting at him.

“You look beautiful.” Ryker took her into his arms next, pushing her perfectly curled hair away from her neck and kissing her there.

I moved in behind her, kissing her exposed shoulder blade. There was something so sexy about having a V in the back of the dress too. It wasn’t too far down, but just enough to expose the elegance of her upper back and shoulders. Was I getting hard over her shoulders? Yes. Yes, I was.

“You guys need to stop, or we’ll be late.” She sighed as Garrett took her arm and peppered kisses from her wrist all the way to her shoulder.

“Are you really ours?” Garrett murmured against her skin.

“Yes.” She breathed her reply, swaying a bit on her feet.

Ryker groaned against her ear. “We should stop.”

She made a noncommittal noise in her throat and leaned back against me, her ass connecting with my ever-hardening dick.

That seemed to bring her back down and she pulled away from us, giving us a stern look. “You three need to behave.”

“You’re the one who picked this dress.” I wanted to kneel down and put her leg over my shoulder to explore under the slit. “It is missing something, though.”

She looked down at herself, running her hands over the chiffon and lace. “It is?”

“Mm.” I reached into my jacket pocket and pulled out a black velvet box we’d picked out earlier in the day. “It will go perfectly with the beading at your waist.”

Her eyes widened and then filled with tears as I opened it to reveal a platinum and diamond pendant necklace that was one larger heart with three small ones linked in the middle of it.

“It’s gorgeous.” She took it from me with shaking hands and ran her fingers over the diamonds on the bigger heart. She freed the necklace and handed it to Ryker. “Put it on for me?”

“Gladly.” He secured it around her neck, and it hung perfectly where her cleavage started.

“It’s perfect. Thank you.” Her smile warmed me more than any amount of scotch could. “We should get going before we never leave.”

I wasn’t opposed to never leaving, but tonight was as good a night as ever to show not just my mother, but everyone in attendance that Luca Caponetti, Ryker St. James, and Garrett Wilson were no longer single.
