“What the fuck!” She put her hand on her chest and turned a glare on me and then Garrett. “Do you both have masks too?”
“Yes.” I reached down under the seat and pulled mine out. “You can say no.”
“What exactly are you asking me?” She took the flashlight Luca offered her.
Garrett took her free hand. “Do you trust us?”
“Not anymore.”
Luca snorted. “We propose a game of cat and mouse. You’re the mouse.”
“You want to chase me in a dark corn maze… with masks on?” She looked so cute as she processed the information and looked at our matching shirts. “And what happens when you catch me?”
“Whoever catches you gets the prize… you.” Garrett kissed her hand and then let it go. “But you won’t know who it is… hopefully.”
She sucked in a breath. “I can tell you apart even if you’re matching.”
Luca lowered his voice, sounding menacing. “When we’re all together it’s easy, but when you’re running, your adrenaline pumping, your heart beating in your ears, your-”
“You don’t scare me.” She looked back out at the corn stalks rising up in front of us. “The corn does though… this is why I don’t watch scary movies. Stupid people go into dark cornfields trying to scare each other and there turns out to be a real killer.”
“This time there will be a pussy killer. Whoever finds you will destroy that sweet pussy of yours and the other two will get the consolation prize of watching.” I put my mask on. “You know what word to scream if you want to stop. Ten… nine…”
Her eyes went comically wide, and she scrambled out of the SUV, running toward the open gate. I could see her flashlight like a beacon as she turned it on in the maze, the light dancing as she ran.
“Are we sure about this? I don’t want to freak her out.” Garrett grabbed her phone from where she’d dropped it on the floorboard and put it in the center console along with his.
“It’s going to be fun. She wouldn’t have gotten out of the car if she didn’t want to do it.” Luca got out, leaving his flashlight behind.
There was just enough light from the moon and the perimeter lights to see, but I took mine just in case. It was a little chilly as we walked to the entrance of the maze, and I hoped Paige was warm enough.
I couldn’t see her light anymore and I wondered if she’d turned it off or if she had made it far enough that we couldn’t see it from where we were at.
“May the best man win.” Luca adjusted his mask and then took off into the maze. “Paige! Here we come!”
“I feel like he’s way too into this.” Garrett put on his mask and followed Luca, leaving me at the rear.
My cock was already coming to life as I jogged into the dark field. I just hoped I found her first so I could claim her as my prize.
I wasn’t very far in when I heard something to my left and then a masculine scream from even farther to my left. There was a soft giggle from somewhere in the corn stalks not too far away.
“That’s not fair, Paige! You can’t throw shit!” Luca yelled.
My eyes adjusted to the darkness, and I spotted a glimpse of white. I stood still, waiting for Luca to move on from where he was so I could make my move.
While they’d run ahead thinking she’d get far, she’d hidden out near the entrance. She was far too smart for this game.
Moving as quietly as possible, I crept forward, trying to control my breathing. She was lying flat on the ground and seemed to be focusing on whatever direction Luca was in, so she didn’t notice me approaching.
I stopped again, listening to the soft rustle of the breeze moving through the leaves. How was I going to get a hold of her with her in that position? This wasn’t the WWE; I didn’t want to dive onto her and potentially hurt her.
She started to move, getting onto her hands and knees, stopping to listen for any sounds. There was nothing to be heard, which meant if she even made a peep, they would know where she was if they were anywhere nearby.
Pushing to just her knees, she waited again, and that was when I made my move.
