“Are you guys going to tell me where we’re going?” I both loved and hated surprises. I hadn’t had to pack anything special besides warm clothing and a few nice outfits.

“Nope,” Ryker said from next to me where he was typing away on his laptop. “It’s a surprise, so don’t try to figure it out.”

“Why did you even bring that? It’s Friday.” I knew he was making progress toward calming his work schedule down, but it was a struggle for him.

“I’m working on sending out some project specifications to get bids and timelines back for the center. I’ll be done by the time we get there.” He looked over at me and smiled. “Don’t worry.”

“I guess the car blow job or even backseat sixty-nine is out of the question then.” I shrugged, unable to hide my grin when Luca whipped his head around.

Garrett groaned. “Please don’t. I won’t be able to drive.”

“You’re insatiable.” Ryker reached across the seat, and I took his hand. “You’ll want to rest up that delicate bud of yours for later.”

I burst out laughing. “Delicate bud?”

“It’s a beautiful flower just waiting to give us its sweet nectar.” He was typing one-handed, and I didn’t know if he was writing smut or working.

“Well, I mean, your dick is the size of a bee’s stinger so…” Luca turned back around, humor in his voice.

“That’s not what Paige said last night.” He kicked Luca’s seat. “I believe her exact words were ‘I want that big cock buried deep in my cunt, Ry.’ Or did I hear her wrong?” Ryker squeezed my hand but then pulled away. “Shit. I wrote cock instead of cost.”

“Exactly why you should put that away until next week,” Garrett said.

Ryker sighed. “Next week is too busy with Badden Apparel coming for contract negotiations.”

“I don’t see why we can’t just do it over video chat.”

“They’re here for the gala too so it just makes sense to meet in person. I heard they’re pretty hands-on and like to meet people face to face before making big company decisions.” Ryker stopped typing and looked over at me. “Remind me on Wednesday to go over the meeting agenda with you.”

I gave him a salute. “Got it.”

He raised an eyebrow and looked down at my phone on the seat between us. “You aren’t going to put it on your calendar?”

“It’s been on my calendar since the day they decided to choose LRG.” I yawned and put my head against the window. “I need a nap.”

“Scoot over here and you can use my shoulder as a pillow.” Ryker patted the middle seat.

I moved my phone and switched seats, buckling up again before putting my head on his shoulder. It wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was better than the shaking window.

When I woke up, it was dark, and we’d just turned into trees. I jumped thinking we were about to hit them but then the SUV straightened out and we were heading down a road lined with trees.

“You all right there?” Ryker had his arm around me and squeezed my waist.

“Yeah, the trees just surprised me.” I rubbed my eyes. “Where are we?”

“We’re at my Hampton’s estate.” Luca was on his phone and, up ahead, a gate swung open. “Well, I shouldn’t say my. I co-own it with my brother. You’ll meet him at the gala.”

“We thought it would be nice to have a weekend away from the city.” Garrett pulled through the gate and up ahead a house was lit up.

As we got closer, my heart beat faster and faster. Luca’s penthouse apartment in the tallest building in the city was impressive, but the house that came into full view was stunning.

Garrett pulled into a garage that Luca must have opened, and I tried to keep my excitement to a minimum. I’d never been in a mansion before, and I could tell from the large, finished garage with ceiling fans it was going to be an amazing weekend.

“Hope it’s not too much.” Luca unbuckled his seatbelt and looked back at me. “We decided driving would be a little less pretentious than taking a helicopter.

My eyes widened. “What?”
