Page 29 of Stuck On Them

Yup. I was fucked right in the ass with an unlubed blue alien cock, but for now, I’d eat another Oreo.

There was a firm knock on my door and I nearly choked. Coughing, I gingerly got to my feet and shuffled to the door. A peephole was too much to ask, and I couldn’t afford a doorbell camera. I felt safe on my floor and building, but was it really safe anywhere in a gigantic city?

“Who is it?” I spluttered out, swallowing the last bit of cookie in my mouth.

“Ryker.”

Ryker! What the hell was he doing at my apartment?

“I don’t know a Ryker.” I croaked, letting the wayward cookie crumbs coating my throat work for me.

“I see the heels you wore today right outside the door, Paige. Open up.” God, that voice made my entire body react, and so did the fact he remembered what shoes I’d worn.

“Paige is currently closed for business. Please find your way to the exit,” I said in a mechanical voice.

“You aren’t a business. Just open the door.” I couldn’t pick up on what kind of mood he was in, but he sounded calm despite his attitude toward me when I saw him in the conference room.

“I’m not? Oh, I’m sorry. I thought being paid for sex was a business. Hey! Maybe that’s what I’ll do now.” There was good money in selling feet pictures. No shame in utilizing the assets. Unfortunately, those assets were currently swollen.

“That’s not what... just open the damn door.” Did he justgrowlat me?

I whipped open the door, ready to give my neighbors their prime-time drama for the night but was greeted by a man who had stress radiating from his every pore.

His blond hair looked like he’d run his fingers through it countless times and his suit jacket and tie were missing. In one hand, he was gripping a manila envelope, and I didn’t need to ask what was inside.

His tired blue eyes took me in, stopping at my chest on his way back up. “Jesus Christ. You shouldn’t be wearing that.”

My cheeks heated and I looked down at my biker shorts and thin camisole. He was right, I shouldn’t have been wearing it, but I also hadn’t expected anyone to see me.

“You didn’t have a problem with it when I was naked.” I started to close the door and he jutted his foot out to stop it from closing. “What part of go away do you not get?”

“That’s not what I meant.” He pushed his way inside and I was too weak to stop him. “Your neighbors are going to see your nipples and thighs and get ideas.”

“My neighbors are harmless.” I didn’t need to tell him I had an oversized shirt for when I went to the bathroom.

He looked around my barely-there apartment as I shut the door. “You live here?”

“No. I turn tricks from here.” I winced as I walked the five steps to the kitchen to lean against the counter.

“Stop talking like that.” He turned to face me and held out the envelope.

I stared at it with a frown. “I’m not signing anything.”

His hand dropped to his side, and he turned to look up at my loft and then my sitting area. “Is this even legal?”

“What are you going to do, report my building to code enforcement? The loft counts as space.” Why was I defending my apartment that I hated? It had looked a lot bigger in the pictures, but then again, it didn’t have anything in it besides the couch.

Without asking, Ryker went and sat on the couch. “I have all night to wait.”

“Making someone sign legal documents under duress won’t look good.” I crossed my arms over my chest because his eyes kept falling to my nipples. “Why would you think it’s even okay to show up here unannounced and barge your way in?”

“When it comes to my business, I’ll stop at nothing to protect it.” He held out the envelope again. “Sign them.”

With a defeated sigh, I stepped forward and snatched it from him. I could faintly hear the buzzing of my phone which he was right next to.

I opened the prongs and pulled out the printed papers, ready to throw them in the sink and turn on the water. Two smaller pieces of paper fluttered to the ground, and I bent with a groan to pick them up.

There was no way I was going to be able to walk or even get up the next day with how sore I was.
