Page 97 of A Lesson for Laurel

The faster her hand moved, the more rapid his hips did.

He felt her start to squeeze his cock, knew she was coming and just held still to absorb the pleasure fully, knowing those internal muscles of hers alone were going to make him come.

And they did a second later, the two of their bodies frozen, the only movements were the pulsing of their most private areas until he collapsed on top of her back.

Ten seconds later, she was laughing. “Am I squishing you?”

“Yep,” she said, “but it was totally worth it.”

Easton rolled onto his back and reached for her. She turned and was lying on his chest, their feet hanging off the side.

“I’m not sure how any man couldn’t just love the hell out of you.”

Her hand that was rubbing his chest stopped. “Are you saying you love me?”

“I think I am,” he said.

“Think?” she asked. Her voice was unsure and he wasn’t sure he’d ever heard that from her before.

“I am,” he said. “How do you feel?”

“The same,” she said.

“Which aren’t the words,” he pointed out.

“I love you, Easton,” she said. “Is that better?”

“It’s the best.”

“Then maybe you can say it to me without adding the word ‘think’ in the mix.”

He smiled. “I love you too, Laurel.”

“That wasn’t so hard, was it?”

“You’d be surprised, but it’s only going to get easier.”

“I hope so,” she said quietly.

He wasn’t sure what she meant by that and decided it might not be the best time to ask.

TIME WITH MY GIRLFRIEND

“Ididn’t know we were having company for breakfast,” Laurel said the next morning when she came downstairs. She’d heard a voice and thought maybe Easton was on the phone, not that Abe was in her kitchen getting a cup of coffee.

“I didn’t know you had coffee this good here,” Abe said. “I might have to knock on the door and say I’m out of it myself more often.”

She smiled and went to get a cup. She made it before she went in the shower and said she’d take care of breakfast when she was done getting dressed.

Easton always seemed to get up first and in the shower before her.

“I don’t make it this way during the week,” she said. “It’s a weekend treat.”

“Dang it,” Abe said.

“My cousin knew I was here this weekend and texted to see if he could come bum breakfast off of us.”
