He pinned my legs and pushed my head to the mattress. “You little bitch.”
“Dad,” Trevor’s voice came from outside the room.
“I’ll be upstairs in a minute,” the coach hollered as he lifted my skirt. Why hadn’t I looked for my underwear?
“If we’re not there on time, they are going to suspend me from more than just the team.” The light from the doorway dimmed, and I knew he must be standing there. I tried to call out, but the coach covered my mouth and the next thing I knew, he tied a smelly bandanna over it. I couldn’t do anything but whimper.
“I told you never to interrupt me,” the coach bit out.
“You can fuck your new toy later. We got to go,” Trevor insisted. Well, that explained so much about Trevor. He wasn't the nice jock he appeared to be on the surface. He took after his asshole of a father.
Coach Wolfe smoothed down my hair. “I’ll be right there.”
I listened to the footsteps get further away and prayed the coach would leave before he did whatever he planned to do with me.
He licked my cheek, and I had never wanted to puke so badly in my life. “I guess I’ll have all night with you. I might actually take my time. You seemed to like the pain at your initiation.”
I cried with relief when he lifted his weight off me, making myself stay still so as not to provoke him. When the door put the room back in darkness, all I wanted to do was to be back at the professor’s house in his arms.
Had he really paid a million dollars to claim me for his own? Did that make me a prostitute? A whore? Did it matter? All I knew was I needed to get out of here.

I satin the conference room that we use for mock trials for our pre-law program, looking through campus security feeds, waiting for Trevor's trial to start. Where had Natalie gone when she left my house?
You're going about this wrong.
Closing my eyes, I sighed. I started over and went back to the feed at my house. After she left the house, she'd gotten her things from my car and walked east, but not before doing something on her phone. She didn't call anyone, which led me to believe it was one of two places. Neither one had adequate security on their online systems, so it was easy to find the company that picked her up two blocks from my house. The car took her to her dorm, where she was dropped off.
Someone cleared their throat. I looked up to find the curved table at the front of the room full, Drew in the center as I sat on one end. It wasn't normal to bring a non-member in front of the Elite, but these weren't normal situations.
Trevor and his father, Coach Wolfe, sat at the middle table, the lighting in such a way that they were in the spotlight and other than the dean, we were in the shadows.
My fists and jaw tightened. I was sick to my stomach. I'd gotten through the video feed of her floor, and she had never gone home. Where was she?
“We are here today to discuss?—”
Coach stood up and waved his arms.
“This whole thing is ridiculous. Things got carried away. She came on to him. He doesn't need a hearing.”
Drew slammed down the gavel.
“He is not the point of this hearing. You are, so sit the fuck down.”
Everyone gasped and looked at the dean. I knew why I was mad but him? He was supposed to keep his cool. He was also supposed to make sure everyone was safe.
“Trevor, the suspension for the team stands and if you murmur a single word about anything here, you will be expelled. Am I clear?”
Trevor looked from his father to the dean and gulped. “Yes, sir.”
“You are dismissed.”
Coach Wolfe and Trevor both moved to leave.
“Coach Wolfe, we're not done with you.”
