He takes a menacing step toward me and grips my hair, getting in my face, stepping right into my trap, and he sneers, “I’m about to be your worst nightmare. You should have just gotten back with my lawyer here.”
I grin again because this man has no idea who he is dealing with before I spit blood in his face, shocking him. He loosens his grip, allowing me to throw my head forward.
He shouts in agony as my forehead connects with his face, and he grabs his nose, falling backward while Coby rushes over. I quickly stand and twist, kicking my leg out, connecting with his balls hard, and he drops to the floor, holding his balls as Aiden runs toward me.
I don’t think; instead, I get into a stance, ignoring my dizzy head.
This pathetic excuse of a man thinks he can take me when I’m undefeated?Bring it on, then!
I dodge him as he jumps toward me before I twist, kicking his back, and causing him to stumble. He turns and runs at me again, roaring in anger, before I punch his jaw, his body falling backward with the force. I jump on him, causing him to land on the floor with athump.I rain punches down on his face, determined to kill him for what he did to Piston, to my Oliver, not caring that my knuckles are splitting open.
I feel someone grab my hair from behind, yanking it. I grunt but pull my head forward with such force I end up connecting with Aiden’s face as he tries to sit up, knocking him out.
I continue to rail on Aiden’s face as the hand in my hair disappears suddenly, but I don’t turn.
“Should we, uh, stop her, Prez?” I hear before all my senses go.
He abused Ollie, and I know there’s more to the story, something more horrific. Now that I’ve looked closer and opened my eyes, I can see the agony in Oliver's eyes, and this man is the cause.

“I’m surprised that she hasn’t killed you yet with her hormones the way they are, brother,” Pitbull says to Piston, who winces while I tap my leg, my mind on Perrie.
I didn’t want to fucking leave her in the diner but when church is called, we drop everything.
I should have just thrown her over my shoulder!
“I’ve never known a woman to go from happy as anything to fucked off mad over the littlest things,” Piston admits, and everyone laughs except me.
I’ve spent most of church in my head, only speaking when I had to about the diner’s finances and the club run in two weeks, a run I can’t do.
I need to leave….
My dreams are getting worse, the memories haunting me, but the thought of not being able to have Perrie in my life, to watch her fall in love with someone else, start a family, it will fucking kill me.
This past week, being around her as much as I could, I knew I couldn’t let her go, but I also know I’m not fucking good enough, that I’m filth.
I need help, and I won’t get it here, so I need to leave.
I just have to tell the brothers everything first so they can understand why. And Perrie….
“Alright, if that’s everything,” Steal says as he lifts the gavel, but I clear my throat before he can bang it, getting everyone’s attention.
He tilts his head, and I say, “I can’t go on the run in two weeks." He frowns as the brothers all lean forward, and I add, “I need to leave for a little while.”
“What the fuck!” Piston snaps, but I ignore him and admit, “For about two months or so….”
Steal slowly places the gavel on the table, his eyes firmly on me as he opens his mouth but before words can escape, Piston’s laptop makes a siren noise and I stand with a choked, “Perrie!” before I move.
The brothers all move as we rush out of church, grabbing our phones.
“Killian, Cam, Harry, grab the vans and follow us!” Steal shouts as we run outside.
“I’ve got her location at the docks!” Piston shouts, and I climb on my bike before turning the ignition and spinning out of the clubhouse, following my brother with my heart in my throat.
Fifteen minutes, fifteen long fucking minutes, is how long it took us to get to the docks where a van is parked in front of the gray building.
