“God, you’re gorgeous,” I murmur, reaching for him.
He gives me a wicked grin. “Thank you.” He licks his lips. “Take off your dress.”
In a flash, I wiggle out of the fabric.
“You’re a work of art.” He presses a kiss on my breast. “An absolute masterpiece.”
The look on his face sends a rush of heat straight to my core. He wraps a hand around my neck, bringing my mouth to his and drinking from my mouth.
He slides his hand between my legs, “You’re soaked, Angel.” His finger slips inside of me.
I gasp, arching off the rug. Slowly, he works his finger in and out. I shudder, sinking my teeth into his shoulder.
“You like that.” He growls.
“Yes…god, yes.”
He moves down my body, latching his hot mouth onto my core.
Panting, I flex my hips up, shamelessly riding his mouth until fireworks explode behind my eyes. When I float back down to earth, Grady is hovering over me.
“Are you ready for more, Angel?”
“Yes. I want you inside of me, Grady. Now.”
With one powerful thrust, he’s deep inside of me. Lost in the sensation of our bodies melding together as one, I grab onto his buttocks, grinding my pelvis into his.
“That’s it,” he groans. “That’s my, Angel.”
My grinding turns frenzied as he pumps harder, faster. “Harder, Grady! Faster!”
Hearing me beg has him plunging into me like a wild beast.
“Grady! Oh, god…Grady…”
He crushes his mouth to mine, swallowing his cries. Our bodies start to shudder and heave. He tosses his head back, and with one final thrust, he empties himself inside of me.
When we catch our breath, he kisses me so softly and gently that a giant wave of emotion washes over me, stealing my breath.
Tonight, I’m his, and he’s mine.
Chapter Four
Carla
Light filters through the cabin’s windows, sending rays of the morning sun streaming over the cream walls. Behind me, the heat of the fire warms my skin. I turn and sigh as I see Grady. He’s still asleep, his dark lashes fanned out against his cheeks, his lips curved into a soft smile. He turns, draping an arm over my waist.
I think back to last night, the way he kissed me. The way he made me feel things I haven’t felt in years, maybe ever. I rest my head against his chest, watching the steady rise and fall with each breath.
Suddenly, I’m worried I made a mistake.
I slide out from under his arm as carefully as possible, trying not to wake him. My heart pounds in my chest, the remnants of last night’s passion still thrumming in my veins. I told myself I wouldn’t let him back in. That I wouldn’t ever let another man break me again, especially Grady Miller.
I grab my dress and slip it on as quickly as I can. I look around for my shoes, spying them by the foot of the couch. I tiptoe across the room, wincing as the wooden floor creaks beneath my feet.
I need to get out of here before he wakes up. I need to put some distance between us to figure out what the hell I’m supposed to do next.
Just as I reach for the door handle, I hear his voice, rough with sleep. “Don’t leave me, Angel.”
