But tonight, we wouldn’t be sleeping outside.

We’d be crashing in Orpheus’ chambers.

In his bed.

Together.

Surrounded by one another.

You can do this.

I snatched up my phone and sat down on the edge of my bed for a moment as I read over their text messages.

Alena:I’m ready. I want to be with the three of you. Let’s make it happen.

Xavier:Want to start with a date? I have some ideas.

Talon:Snow and romantic ice sculpture style?

Xavier:Something different.

Talon:Mixing it up? I’m down for that.

Xavier:You’re down for anything.

Talon:When it comes to my firecracker, definitely.

Xavier:Aww, who’s the romantic one now?

Alena:I was thinking we skip straight to the big finish.

Talon:Damn, I’m down for that too. Shit, yeah.

Xavier:Outside? Under one of Ore’s illusions?

Alena:His chambers.

Orpheus:Meet us there tonight after your classes, little angel.

Alena:See you soon.

I put my phone down and then sucked in a breath and called my power, teleporting right outside Orpheus’ chambers.

The door was ajar in invitation and I peered inside to see that the three of them were already in there.

All of them were shirtless, Orpheus just wearing his silver leather pants, Talon in his tight orange trunks, and Xavier in his silk boxers.

Ready and waiting for me.

They were talking away in hushed whispers and I found myself listening in, wanting to know where they were at regarding what was about to happen.

“Slow and easy,” Orpheus was saying.

“Agreed,” Xavier said. He eyed Talon. “Can you keep it in check?”

“Me? Of course. You’re the one with the hot, demonic side.”

“Hot, huh?”
