“Levi!”
“Sorry.” He closed his eyes, and the tentacle stilled, barely breaching me. “If it’s too much, I won’t, but… I like the idea of keeping my cum inside you.”
Why was that so hot?
Oh, right, because we’d fucked once, and I never wanted to have sex again unless tentacles were involved.
“Fuck. Do it.”
Levi sighed, but the tentacle didn’t need to be told twice and once it was all the way inside so I felt full but not stretched, it relaxed, just hanging out and keeping Levi’s cum deep inside me.
Which made me think something absolutely bananas.
“Uh, Levi?”
“Hmm?” His eyes fluttered open, and they were back to their normal amber-flecked hazel again, the glow gone.
“I realize this is totally off the wall and probably something we should have discussed before you fucked my brain straight out of my head, but you can’t, like, knock me up, can you?”
His answering snort unknotted some of the tension that had started to coil in my chest.
“I’m a kraken, Kris, not an alien.”
“You’re sure?”
He held a hand to his heart. “I promise. Kraken reproduction isn’t even really all that sexual.” He thought about that for a moment. “I mean, it can be, but mostly, it’s reproduction via magic.”
My fingers itched for a pen and paper again, and I prayed my fucked-out brain would remember at least some of what Levi told me so I could write it down later. “Explain.”
“This gets a little weird.”
“I just had tentacle sex with a kraken. I think I’m good with out-there shit.”
“Fine, but remember you asked for it.”
“I will.”
He took a big breath. “So there are cells inside my body that hold magic. I can feel them, and if I focus, I can isolate them, but since I’m pretty young in kraken years and not really at a reproductive age, it’s not easy. At any rate, if or when I’m ready to spawn, I just need to join some of my magic cells with another magic source, and voila, baby kraken.”
“What kind of other magic source?”
“Well, when a mommy kraken and a daddy kraken love each other very much?—”
I slapped his chest. Kind of. I was still draped in tentacles, so it was more like a flick of my wrist that barely connected with Levi’s pec. “Be serious.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Are you asking me if we could have babies?”
Heat rose in my cheeks because I hadn’t been thinking that, but now I was. “No…”
He shook his head and kissed my forehead. “As far as I know, humans don’t have enough magic for kraken-level reproduction. I’d need to either join my cells with another kraken’s cells or with the ley line orb itself.”
“Ley line orb?”
“I didn’t tell you about this?”
“Uh, no. I’d remember you talking about a magic orb.”
He sighed again and explained that the ley line orb indicated the health of the town’s magic and that the one in Lifeboat wasn’t behaving the way it should.
