She’s been through fucking hell and back, and now I have a feeling that she’s about to drag us into the fiery pits along with her.But that’s okay.I'll follow her anywhere, just as long as we’re together.

I thought my feelings for her had dwindled over time, but seeing her last night—having that moment—made every little one rush back at full force.I brush the hair out of her face, hoping that my touch will bring her some kind of comfort, and though she stirs slightly, she doesn’t wake up just yet.

I let out a sigh, knowing that I couldn’t protect her from everything. But I want to try now, because despite everything, I love her, and I’m not afraid to admit it anymore.

“Why are you staring at me?”Calista asks in a sleepy voice, a small smile tugging on her lips.

“You noticed, huh?”I chuckle, watching her eyes fling open and a look of panic swirling within them.

“Dom, wha…” Her voice trails off as if she’s come to a realization, forcing me to look around the room with my brows pinched in confusion.

Sitting up quickly, she yanks the blanket off of me and pulls it up to her chin, trying to shield her body from my wandering eyes. It’s as if she forgot where she was. It’s too late, though.I’ve seen everything she doesn’t want me to see.

But who was she talking to just a second ago if it wasn’t me?

“Calista, is everything okay?”I ask, using a soothing voice to try and get her to relax a little bit.

“Yeah, fine,” she snaps, hopping out of my bed.

Again, like last night, she digs around her backpack and pulls out another handful of medication, swallowing each one without water.Looking at me, she pauses for a moment, trying to find the right words to say.But in a time like this, are there any?

I reach out to take ahold of her hand, feeling her fingers trembling against mine.“Calista, you can talk to me.Whatever it is, I’m here for you,” I reassure her.

She looks at me with tears brimming in her eyes, and I know that whatever’s troubling her runs deep.“Dom, I-” she starts, but then cuts herself off, shaking her head.“I don’t know where to begin. It’s all so fucked up,” she whispers.

I wrap my arms around her, pulling her into a tight hug.“We’ll figure it out together. We’ll make it through, I promise,” I vow, holding her as the storm rages on outside and the tension in the room grows thicker by the second.

All of a sudden, she rips out of my embrace, and her body stiffens as if it’s putting up a defense against me.The look she gives me cuts deep, but I can’t blame her for it.As much as it bothers me, I have no fucking leg to stand on right now.

She rushes to get dressed, donning another all-black outfit that’s tight and revealing, hugging the parts of her body that catch my eye the most. Her tits pour out of the top of her shirt, and I find myself licking my lips and zoning out as she finishes brushing her hair.

And then it dawns on me.“Do you plan on talking to Ash and Kill today?”Nervously, I whisper, swinging my legs over the edge of the bed, my feet hitting the cold floor.

“Why the fuck do you think I’m still here?”she snaps at me, swiping a brush of clear gloss over her pouty lips. And then she looks at me, raising her perfect brow with a chilling grin on her face.“You boys owe me and it’s time to pay up.”She winks, making my blood turn cold.“But first, I need some fucking coffee.”

I swallow hard and slowly, giving her a curt head nod.“There’s some in the kitchen.”

“Nah, I’ll be right back,” she laughs, shaking her head as she heads for the open window beside my bed.

“You can use the door, Cali.”

“No need; the window is just fine.”

And with that, she’s gone, slipping out through the window into the storm, the rain soaking her within seconds. Not knowing how long she’ll be gone for or if she’s even going to come back, I fly out of bed and rush out of my room, banging on the guy’s doors to wake them up.I need to tell them everything I can before she gets back.

Will they give me shit for sleeping with her?Oh, absofuckinglutely. But at this point, I don’t give a fuck.If she had snuck into either of their rooms, they would’ve done the same shit.

Calista is justthatgirl for the three of us.No matter what we go through together, there’s a force—a pull—that always brings us back together.

“What the fuck, Dom?”Killian opens his bedroom door and snaps at me, rubbing his half-shut eyes, wearing his socks and a pair of boxers, his hair in tangles.

“Wake the fuck up.We have to talk.”I bang on Ash’s door again, pushing it open when he still doesn’t answer.

He sits up in bed, and like Kill, he rubs the sleep from his eyes as they adjust to the gloom filtering in through the cracks in his blinds.

“Living room—NOW,” I hiss, stomping out of his room.

Quickly, I make a cup of coffee and sit in my usual seat on the couch, mixing up my morning shot of dope; it’s in my arm by the time both of them finally join me.
