“Mrs. Winters?” He shifts his eyes to me. “I am sorry, but am I boring you?” All fifty heads turn towards me as I feel my face start to flush from the embarrassment. Giving him a quick smile, I shake my head and slink down into my seat. “As I was saying,” He continued. I tap my pen on my desk while thinking of Eli and I’s lovemaking a few nights before. Images of him taking a black velvet blindfold and securing it to my eyes. Bounding my wrists with his merlot leather handcuffs.

Restraining my wrists to the hanging chains. Grabbing my ass and lifting me off the floating bed to thrust his bare cock into my wet pussy, pushing deeper with every stroke. I scream in pleasure as his fingers play with my clit, making the sensations so overwhelming that I come over and over again.

The memories are making my thighs rub and clench together, causing daydreams to surface around me. Then, my mind shifts to the masquerade event and how damned good he looked in his all-black tux. The way his eyes roamed my heated body. All I can think about is him, taking me on this very desk.

Even with all the students in here, I would let him bend me over it and fuck me right in front of everyone. Especially in front of the dull and lifeless Mr. Smith. The thought has me giggling.

“Is something funny, Ms. Winters, that you would like to share with the rest of the class?” I hear some people chuckle around me and eyes staring. Heat again races to my cheeks.

I quickly said, “No, sir. Sorry.” Rolling his eyes and letting out a huff, he continues. It’s been a week since running into Jasper. According to Eli, he still hasn’t heard from the asshole. It makes me nervous that something is going to happen to him. I mean, if all he truly wanted was money, he definitely would have already reached out to him. I can’t shake the feelings of fear due to the unknown.

I have tried to make my concerns known with Eli, get the local police or inform the FBI that he was back in the country, but Eli just wants to handle this in a hush-hush manner. I believe he is afraid of Jasper outing him about the millions Eli has in offshore accounts. The thoughts have my mind racing.

It’s all so dangerous. Eli has been very protective of me lately. He refuses to let me travel to school alone or be picked up unless it’s him. Even Jenny was mildly annoyed with it all. I can’t get out of class faster once the bell rings. I make my way up to my dorm room so I can grab a few extra clothes and necessities to bring with me to Eli’s.

Turning, I grabbed my phone and sent him a text message that I would be ready for him to pick me up in fifteen minutes. Grabbing my belongings, I headed out of my room and down the stairs to the main campus.

It’s dark out here and there aren’t many people around. Walking towards the parking lot, I start to feel unease take over me...like I am being watched. I quickly turn around and look to see if anyone is walking by or near me.

Nothing. Man, I think I have been watching too many scary movies lately. I continue to wait as I hear a twig snap behind me. I turn around quickly to peer into the darkened woods.

“Hello?” I say as my voice trembles. “Eli?” Nothing. Just pure silence. Turning back around, I let out a sigh. Fuck Brook, keep it together. Again, I hear bushes rustle behind me. “Eli, I swear to fucking god, if you are messing with me, I won’t let you touch me for a whole week!” I snap, peering into the dark woods again. Silence.

I let out an annoyed sigh and turned back around. I truly believe I am losing my damn mind. My imagination has been running wild lately. It’s probably just some cute little bunny, hopping along, minding its own business. I open my purse and grab out my earbuds and place them into my ears. I turn on my Spotify and relax as I listen to some R&B music.

I sway my head along to the beat as I wait for the rumble of Eli’s bike. Before I have time to react, someone wraps their hands around my face and holds a white, wet cloth over my nose. Chloroform.

My screams are muffled by their leather gloves on top of my mouth. I try to fight and kick, but the chemical smell has my eyes starting to sting and roll into the back of my head. Tears blur my vision as my body begins to go limp. A deep voice leans into my ear, his breath is hot, sending my skin crawling.

“Just relax, little slut. This will all be over soon.” Then, before I had time to try and cuss and continue to kick and scream...I faded into blackness.

CHAPTER 24

ELI

Rounding the corner of the university, I turn into the parking lot where I always pick up Brooklyn from class. Pulling up, I don’t see her anywhere. Must be running late again, I think to myself. I pull into an empty parking space and shut off my bike, taking off my helmet. I waited another five minutes before I pulled out my cellphone to call her.

Ring, Ring, Ring.

The phone picks up after the third ring when I say, “Baby girl, hurry up. It is freezing out here.” My smile starts to fade when on the other line, I hear deep and heavy breathing.

“Eli. I have such a pretty little thing sitting on my lap.”I freeze, my eyes widening with fear. No, this can’t be. My heartbeat starts to quicken as he continues.“I’ve got something nice to add to my collection now. A pretty little slut. Guess I should thank you for that. I just knew she would be perfect when I saw her at the ball.”A low laugh follows.

“Oooo, she is going to make me so much money!”Jumping off my bike, I run to the sidewalk, where just out of my view, I see Brooklyn’s purse and clothes thrown on the ground.“Eli my boy, are you still there?”He questions as the realization has me coming to. Red, that’s all I see. That’s all I feel.

“You better not lay one fucking hand on her, Jasper. If you fucking touch her...”

He cuts me off quickly.

He risks,“if I were you Eli, I would be a little more respectful with how you fucking talking to me, boy.”I’mvibrating with anger. My world is starting to crumble right at my feet. I look around, not knowing what to do, where to start, who to call. I hear a muffled moan coming from the phone.

“Shhh, baby, just go back to sleep. We won’t do anything you wouldn’t like,”Jasper says in a low growl. I am fucking panicking.

“Okay, okay, Jasper. I know you want money. How much? I will pay whatever your price is.” I heard him let out a loud laugh on the other end of the phone.

“Money?”He laughs again.“Oh, Eli, this is way past whatever you could afford. Did you not wonder why I never contacted you? Yeah, I am aware you stole over a hundred grand from me, after you sold me to the DEA. I have thought about how much money you could give me for that inconvenience.”

I pull at my hair, moving the phone away from my ear. I crouch down and slam my fist into the ground. Swallowing my anger, I put the phone back up to my ear.
