One night, he came back and took me to the basement. That's the night I killed him. I tortured him and took my revenge. I slit his throat and watched as the life left his eyes. Eddie brought the clean up crew and that's how I got where I am today. That was the night me and Naomi started working for him and Zeke.” I confess, taking a deep shuddering breath, sniffling as I throw back another shot.

Naomi squeezing my hand brings me back to the now. Looking over at them, they all look stunned, similar looks on their faces. I can't tell if it's pity, sadness or rage. Reyes is squeezing my thigh, but Luis chimes in.

“I’m sorry all that happened to you, no one deserves to go through something like that. I guess we’re up. I’ll give you one of my secrets. When Reyes said Eddie sent you to drop off your bike, I looked you up. We needed to know who he sent our way. I was more intrigued because it was like your whole file was wiped clean, other than working at Orpheus and Sirens.

Then earlier, when Zeke called us in, he said you didn’t know about us or what we did and it would be up to us if we told you, but regardless we were to make sure you are safe at all times. We don’t want you to think anyone lied to you or Naomi. He said it wasn’t important if you knew, but after hearing everything you said, I want us to lay it all out now.” He takes a shot along with the rest of the table.

I sit there, absorbing what he just told me when Damien is the next to speak up.

“Raven, the reason Zeke even took me in, is because my step dad beat my mother to death. The night he killed my mom, I had already called Reyes and told him it was bad. Before he could kill me, Zeke showed up and shot him. That was when I moved in with them and we all started working together.” He explains. Jesus, this night just keeps getting darker and darker.Let's just release the demons.

“Jesus Christ, I’m sorry. Not sorry he’s dead, but sorry you went through that. I think that's enough secret exchanges. We can pick this back up another time. Let's just drink and dance. We are here to have fun, so I say we put all the darkness aside.” I state, trying to lighten the mood. Everyone nods and we all take shots before we ask for another round.

Drinking and dancing is just what the doctor ordered.

Chapter eleven

Luis

Listening to Raven relive what happened to her definitely did something to me. I don’t do feelings, but fuck if that didn’t make me want to go kill that fucker, even if he is already dead. Raven gets up and walks off, pulling me from my thoughts.

“Where is she going?” Asking nobody in particular. Damien looks at me and laughs.

“Bro, while you were all in your head, she said she was going to the restroom and would be right back.” Tilting my head at him I reply,

“Fine, I’ll be right back then, she doesn't need to go alone.” I huff out.

Getting up and heading towards the stairs, I hear footsteps following behind me, turning around I notice Reyes and Damien following, I start chuckling.

“Guess you thought the same thing, huh?” They grunt in reply.

Heading towards the bathrooms, we see her walk right past them and head for the downstairs area. Reyes looks at me and raises a brow.

“You think she's going down to Sinful?” He questions, me and Damien shrug and keep following her.

“If she is, I am so down to watch the shit she is into.” Damien murmurs, rubbing his hands together. Rolling my eyes, I keep following.

Following her past the guards and down the hall lit with dim red lights, she sits in one of the booths facing the girls dancing naked in cages. We stand back a little ways, leaning against the wall, and just watch her. Down here, anything goes if you give someone consent. There are private rooms set up that have two-way glass for those who want the feel of people watching without being in the crowd. Then there are the ones in this room who don’t care if they are seen or heard. Looking around, it's not as busy as it normally is, but there are still quite a few people in here.

Turning back and looking at Raven has me all kinds of curious about what's running through her pretty little head right now.Does she like a little voyeurism? After about ten minutes of watching her, I turn to the guys.

“Alright, I'm walking over there. She’s been watching the same girls dance in that cage for a bit.” I state, pushing off the wall and walking towards her booth with them hot on my heels.

“Hey princess, mind if we join you?” I question, while sliding in the booth. Reyes slides in on her other side and Damien follows suit. Quirking a brow at us, she lets out a low chuckle.

“I was wondering when y'all were going to stop standing by the wall, watching me like a bunch of creeps, and come over.” Shocked at how she even saw us tucked in the shadows.

“There’s no way you knew we were there the whole time? If so, why not just acknowledge us?” Raising a brow in question, I watch for her reaction.

“Well for one, I knew you were behind me before I ever made it down the stairs. Remember what I do for a living? I’m always on alert. Two, I wanted to see how long it would actually take you to walk over.” She quips while shrugging. Reyes is the one who chimes in, still chuckling.

“Damn Little Devil, we will have to learn to sneak up on you better. I do recall you sleeping like the dead the night we made you cum on the hood of your car though. Anyway, do you come down here a lot?” He questions, waving the waitress down.

“Actually, not as much as you would think. I come down here to just watch everyone be free. They can do whatever they want down here with no judgment. Plus, I like to see what I might be into and what not. As for that night, it had been a stressful week. I guess you making me cum was just what I needed for some good sleep.” She finishes, chuckling just as the waitress walks up. She orders another drink, and I tell her to bring water for the table. If any of us are driving home, someone needs to stop.Thank God I’m not a big drinker.

“So, Little Viper, going to tell us what you are into?” Damien asks as he winks at her.

“So far, I’m pretty much down for anything, it's the chains I can't get passed.” She shrugs like it's no big deal.
