I was so lost in my half-drunken thoughts that I accidentally ran smack into a hard, tall somebody on the way back to the house. “Woah, you alright? Sorry about that!” A deep voice vibrated as hands gripped my shoulders to steady me.

“Yeah, sorry—my bad. I kind of…tripped,” I stammered, the hazy feeling in my head making it hard to form sentences.

“No worries. It happens to the best of us, hermoso” the guy said, flashing me a perfect white smile. Despite the dark, I could tell he was seriously attractive. His dark, thick eyebrows and lashes framed brown eyes that were swirled with hazel. His brown skin looked polished and flawless, and his nearly black hair was cropped short and spiky. I could just make out a faint dimple that popped from his flirty smile. His eyesraked down my form and I squirmed uncomfortably. Even with Cal in the picture, I still wasn’t used to anyone looking at me with attraction and it made me want to shrink into myself.

“You here alone or looking for someone? I can’t imagine anyone being stupid enough to leave you unattended,” he smirked, removing his hands and taking a step back.

I felt the blush creep up my neck. “Uhh, I’m here with?—”

“Rhys.” Cal’s voice rang behind me, sharp and annoyed. I pivoted to see him sauntering over from the other side of the bonfire, and as he got closer there was no missing the jealous glint in his eyes. He sidled up next to me, slipping his arm over my shoulder and turning to face the guy. “Hey Mateo. ¿Qué más?”

The guy, Mateo apparently, aimed his smile at Cal, not put off in the slightest by the possessive growl in his tone. “Hawk, good to see you! I take it this is your boyfriend, eh? I heard you got snatched up. Bien hecho, parcero. He’s cute.” His shameless compliment had my face heating up even more, and I leaned heavier into Cal’s side.

“He’s that and more, my man,” Cal chuckled. “This is Rhys. And sorry to disappoint, but you’ll have to find your entertainment elsewhere tonight since this one’s spoken for.”

“Hey, you know me, hermano. That’s never been a problem before,” Mateo laughed and held out a hand that Cal clasped and did some convoluted handshake with. “I’m gonna get back to it, but it was nice to meet you, Rhys. You keep this one out of trouble, you hear?”

“Oh fuck off, dude,” Cal retorted, punching Mateo in the shoulder lightly. He winked at us and strutted over to a group of girls who immediately swarmed him with squeals and hugs. “Jesus, that fucker could get laid in a damn convent.”

I giggled tipsily, watching him work his charm with the girls and I guessed he’d have panties dropping in record time. “You seem to know him well,” I said, swinging my gaze back to Cal.

“Mateo and I go way back. We went to high school together. He’s an awesome guy, but flirty as fuck, which I guess you figured out for yourself, Sweetness.” I gulped at the returned glint in his eye that spoke of danger. They narrowed at me, and I couldn’t tell if he was angry or not.

“I didn’t flirt with him, if that’s what you mean,” I argued. “I was looking for you because you disappeared.”

“I was getting you some water. I noticed you were getting a bit closeto the line,” Cal explained, his brow perking in amusement as he raised a water bottle in front of my face. “You’rethe one who clearly didn’t pay attention when I told you that and wandered off to flirt.”

My brows crashed together and I yanked the water bottle out of his hand, feeling indignant. “I did not wander off and I definitely didn’t flirt,” I said petulantly, shrugging off his arm. I uncapped the water and took a giant swig, and I saw how Cal’s gaze tracked the movement down to my throat. The look in his eyes burned hotter than the fire behind him, and I couldn’t stop the shudder that ran through me.

“I don’t know,” Cal said slowly, tilting his head as though studying me. “It seemed like you were appreciating his attention a little too much. I think you need a reminder of who owns that hot little ass of yours.”

My throat grew dry and my dick pulsed to life at the images that sprang to mind. Cal’s jealous side was sexy as heck, and I wanted to stoke it and see him lose control. That dark, dirty need I had swept over me like a wave, making me want to sink into it until he corrupted me beyond redemption.

“If you didn’t want anyone else to have my ass, maybe you shouldn’t have left it,” I leered, and Cal’s face darkened momentarily before he caught on to my game. He knew my heart had no other home but with him, but we both craved the fight that had first brought us together. Cal was my safe place, but tonight I wanted to lure the Hawk from his nest.

A deep growl vibrated from his throat, and he took a menacing step closer. “You even think about letting someone else touch you, I will fuck you so hard that your hole won’t know how to take a dick that isn’t mine. I will cover you in my cum so every motherfucker will smell me on you and know that you are off limits.”

I could feel my heartbeat in the pit of my stomach, all my blood emptying into my groin until I was nearly dizzy from it. I was so turned on that I couldn’t think straight, and only two words managed to slip out.

“Prove it.” I dropped the bottle and shot off to the right, away from the bonfire and toward the dark woods that surrounded the property. They weren’t thick, but I’d be out of sight if I just got deep enough into them. I strained to hear the crunch of footsteps behind me, but couldn’t hear anything past the blood pounding in my ears. I weavedthrough the trees, the dark blanketing me the farther I got from the party.

I stumbled to a halt when I got to a small clearing, my head whipping around at every small sound that snapped and creaked from the shadows. A sliver of fear broke through the haze of alcohol, mixing with the anticipation of Cal catching me and it hardened my cock. A low hum floated toward me, carried by the wind so I couldn’t pinpoint which direction it was coming from. The fear bled further into my consciousness.

“Oh Sweetness…did you think that would work? You know if I want you, I’ll have you one way or another,” Cal rumbled from the trees to my left, but I couldn’t see him.

“And here I was hoping Mateo had come and found me,” I jeered, but my voice was shaky with adrenaline. I took off again, but I made it only a few steps before Cal rammed into me, wrapping his arms around me and pinning mine to my sides. He wrestled me back against a tree, my efforts to break free impeded by the strength of his body. My back met rough bark and Cal’s shadowy face hovered right in front of me.

“I don’t want to hear you say any fucker’s name but mine,” he warned, grinding his hips into my painful erection. I bit back the moan that crawled up, not wanting to give into him yet.

“You jealous?” I bit out, bucking my hips up to throw him off, but his hand closed around my throat tight enough that I froze.

“Why would I be jealous when it’s my cum that’s about to drip from your ass and my name you’ll be screaming?” Cal asked in an icy tone that actually made me tremble. I knew I was completely safe with him, but his cruel side still had the power to make me nervous. And those nerves made my dick harder than a steel pipe that wouldn’t stop leaking.

“Bite me,” I gasped out, and his face broke out in a sinful smile. The hand not on my neck cupped me firmly, drawing a helpless whimper from me. It took everything in me not to rock into the sensation and beg for more.

“Careful what you wish for, Sweetness. I’ve already tasted your tears and cum. Maybe I should find out if your blood is the sweetest of all,” he whispered onto my lips, licking my bottom one slowly. A shiver ripped through me, his malicious words flooding me with lust.

“Jesus, Cal,” I moaned, my hips thrusting forward unconsciously, seeking friction. He ever so slowly brushed his lips over mine, as if giving me one last show of tenderness before he unleashed on me. In the next heartbeat, Cal flipped me around and shoved me against the tree. My breathing became erratic, need warring with fear and kicking up my frantic pulse. That old flicker of insecurity and disgust tried to rise up, but I smothered it in the memory of Cal’s reassurance that I wasn’t broken. Our pleasure wasn’t wrong. Nothing with us could be.
