I’ve been seeing Dr. Abbess over videocalls while on the road and we agree I must havethe talkwith Wes. I’m just waiting for the best time.
He cups my breasts, thumbing the hard nipples, bringing me back to the moment. I put to good use the Kegel techniques I’ve been practicing and contract my pelvic muscles on my way down.
“Damn it, sweetheart,” he moans, bending and pulling a nipple into his mouth.
My turn to groan in pleasure, swaying my hips, chasing my release. It’s been building deep inside me. The first contractions hit my sex, squeezing his cock, and stealing my breath away.
I gasp and shut my eyes. Bright spots flash behind my eyelids when more sensations wash over me. His mouth moves to my other nipple. He traps it between his teeth, flicking the tight peak with his tongue.
“God!” I speed up my thrusts.
“Give it to me, babe,” Wes asks, pulling the plug out of my ass in one swift movement.
“Wes!” I wail as another orgasm hits me with the power of an earthquake.
He holds me tight when my body collapses against his chest. He swivels his hips, groaning as he finds his own release. His hot jets fill me to the brim, overflowing, marking me.
His teeth graze my neck before he sucks it. “You’re mine.” His hot breath fans the spot on my skin where a purple stain will appear later.
I don’t care if other people see his mark on me.
“I’m yours,” I murmur, as we fall onto the bed, my mind drifting into sleep.

After the first concert in Boston, we gather in Nick’s dressing room for a cocktail with fans and sponsors. Half an hour later, sitting on the couch beside Wes, with his arm draped around my neck, I watch Kim shepherd the guests out with a broad smile on her face.
She calls out, waving her arms above her head, “Thanks, everyone. It’s late and my guys need their beauty sleep.”
Despite loud complaints and last-minute selfies, she manages to clear the room of all people not connected with Muse of Darkness. She sticks her head out, checks both sides of the hall, and closes the door.
Sagging on the cushion beside me, she pats my thigh, “We’ve got to talk.”
I open my mouth wide and stab my chest with an index finger. Everyone chuckles and I give them an exaggerated wink.
“What’s up?” I ask her.
“We didn’t say anything before because I was in discussions with the sponsors. Today, I got the green light from the last one and they’re all on board with the band’s idea.”
“Actually, it was Erik’s,” Nick cuts her off with a goofy grin, pointing at the singer.
He throws a thumb in the air toward the bass player. “He jumped right in and dragged his poor girlfriend with him.”
Carlotta huffs and scowls at Erik. “Care to explain to me what’s going on?”
He ignores her as do all the others. Yet I don’t feel bad for her.
Logan throws his hands in the air, tilting his head to Ally. “I didn’t force her. She’s happy to help.”
My new friend nods, locking eyes with me. “Anything I can do for you, hon.”
I bounce my stare from one person to the next until I return to Kim. “I’m so confused.”
She grins and slants her head to Wes.
I turn to him who cups my face in his palm. He smooches my lips. “Sorry I didn’t say anything. We wanted to surprise you. Now, it’s all set. We’ll play an extra concert in San Francisco when we get back in town. All the money will go to Welcoming Hills to buy a new place for the kids.”
My heart grows so big it thuds against the walls of my chest wanting to get out and fly to this man. I shake my head. Glancing around the dressing room, I see these rock stars under a totally different light. And it has nothing to do with the unshed tears brimming in my eyes. They’re nothing like I expected them to be.
