“Both of you go potty and wash your hands. Meet us in the dining room,” Theo instructs.
I glance up at Cage, and he gives me a slight nod. “Go ahead. Unless you need help?”
My eyes go round, and I quickly shake my head before Rowie and I scurry away. I don’t know why the man is so obsessed with helping me in the bathroom. I also don’t understand why it intrigues me so much. It would be embarrassing. Totally humiliating. Yeah, I definitely don’t want his help.
Nope. Totally not.

CAGE
Theo grins at me as we leave the playroom.
“What the fuck are you looking at me like that for?”
He shrugs. “I was just checking out those hearts in your pretty brown eyes.”
I frown. “What are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about you having a thing for Ember. The way you look at her is… intense.”
Shrugging, I shake my head. “I like her, but she’s a client.”
“She’s a Little. An adorable and sweet Little,” he replies.
“Yeah. So?”
Theo scoffs and rolls his eyes as we enter the dining room. “So, she’s Little. You like her. You’re a Daddy. What the fuck more do you need? A map?”
“Who’s Little?” Roman asks as he sets a pile of plates on the table.
“Ember. You’ll meet her at dinner,” Theo answers.
Warmth settles in my chest. I’ve never had a woman here before. Not sure I ever intended to. The Ranch is my sacred space. My home. It’s where my family is. The only place I trulyever feel safe. But having Ember here, around my brothers, at our dinner table. It feels right. Like it’s supposed to be.
“Good to have you home. How’d the mission go?” I ask Roman. He must have finished since he’s back earlier than expected.
Roman gives us a menacing grin. “Great. Nothing like some fresh blood to invigorate me. Everything is wrapped up, and the problem has been delivered wrapped in a bow. Or a body bag. Same thing, basically.”
I grin at my brother and reach out to give him a fist bump. “Nice.”
“Anyway, back to Little Ember,” Roman says. “Does Cage have feelings for a woman for once?”
“No,” I snap.
“Yes,” both Theo and Rylan reply at the same time.
I turn around to glare at Rylan who appeared out of nowhere. Fucker.
“I do not. She’s a client. Who’s cooking tonight?”
“Nice, trying to change the subject.” Theo chuckles. “Dom is.”
Thank fuck. Dom is one of the better cooks in the family. I try to be out of town as much as possible when Lex cooks. I love my brother, but the dude makes some weird shit.
Rylan grins, his eyes sparkling. “A client who he’s told me to stay the fuck away from. He threatened my life over her.”
Theo snorts and slaps me on the back. “Say what you want, bro, but we all know you better than anyone. You like her. She’s more than just a client. Besides, you heard Rowie. They’re going to be besties, so Ember has to stay.”
