Today she has the same smile she always has on her face and a blue summer dress. I don't know how she’s wearing that kind of shit when it’s cold.

“You’re not doing anything today, right?” Reign asks while walking in confidently.

It’s been a few days since her bedroom. I sneak up there pretty much every night and then sneak out before the sunrises.

It’s become part of my routine every night, just spending it with her.

She’ll be reading or texting one of her friends before I barge in and steal her attention, as it should be.

I should be the only one she’s thinking of or taking her full attention.

“No, not like I do much anyways.”

It’s true.

Usually during the day, I have stupid meals with Reign’s family, Kyra pulls me into some bullshit she needs Reign and I’s help with, training Reign or at least trying to since I can’t keep my hands off of her, and just other random bullshit Reign wants to do.

Today won’t be any different.

If you were to ask me if I miss the pre-Reign life, I’d say I miss it, but I’d also say it was fucking boring. Being with Reign is like a relief almost and I actually wish the days were longer with her.

I constantly want to be around her, touching her, everything.

“Good, because I want to go to this museum that just opened up a few blocks away. I’ve been waiting for it to open for ages and haven’t had the chance to go because I have no one to go with so now that I have you, I’ll finally be able to go and-”

I cut her off by kissing her because she’s talking too much and thinking too much about it.

As I kiss Reign she gasps into my mouth and places her hands on my bare chest, her nails grazing my chest.

Something I’ve noticed about Reign and when she rambles on like that is that she gets nervous when asking me about plans or just talking to me in general. So, she rambles until I kiss the shit out of her to calm her down and shut her mind off for a little bit.

I nip her bottom lip before pulling away with a groan. “I’ll go. I just need to change.” I kiss her forehead and catch Reign’s red, flushed red face before I turn away to go change.

I change into black trousers and a white button up. Reign is sitting on the couch waiting for me when I get down.

We head to my car after Reign explains her plans with me to Kyra and her mom.

During the drive, the music is turned up loud while Reign hangs her arm out the window, softly singing to the music playing. It’s pretty empty on the streets today so we get to this museum pretty fast, especially with how I drive.

“How’d you find out about this place?” I ask Reign while parking the car.

“I would sometimes take walks down this road because there’s a coffee shop not too far from here. I would always see these people carrying in a bunch of art. I then found out that this place was soon going to open up and showcase renaissance style art,” Reign explains.

We get out of the car, and I grab Reign’s hand immediately, pulling her closer to me.

“You know how to draw?” I ask her as we walk towards the entrance.

Reign shakes her head. “No. I wish though because artists are so talented. I feel like I just haven’t found a passion yet. Yes, I like helping people but there are so many people who are creative and have their whole passion and lives figured out. I feel like I’m meant for more. More than my Papa’s business. You know? You have artists creating masterpieces and authors creating different realities with every story,” she explains as we walk in.

I pay for both of us to enter before looking down at her. “You’re still young. You have enough time to figure it all out.”

Reign looks up at me with those gorgeous blue eyes that just keep fucking me over. “What do you think I’m meant for?”

I stop walking and look at her, really look at her. I bring my hand up to hold her jaw in my hand. I stroke my thumb along her cheek and just admire her.

She’s made for the fucking universe.

To spoil and cherish.
