“Good?” Cole asked.
“Let’s go.”
The discussion on the way to meet the kings was light. We agreed we’d try to occupy their minds and help in any way we could.
At least, that was the plan.
“Maybe you should slow down,”Fox said, watching as Dom swallowed another drink. It was worse than we thought. They were so deep in despair that I didn’t think there was shitall we could do to pull them out. Especially Dom. His green eyes were ringed in black, and he’d lost a lot of weight. He looked a hell of a lot worse than Vincent and Levin did, but they definitely didn’t look good.
“Maybe you should let a grieving man grieve,” Dom mumbled, gesturing some blonde over. I’d caught her eyeing him all night. Quickly, she came over, and Dom pulled her onto his lap. I cast an uneasy look to Cole, who looked like he was going to be sick.
“Dom—” Vincent snarled, his dark eyes flashing with anger.
“Shh.” Dom held his hand up.
He was high as fuck and drunk. This wasn’t going to go anywhere good.
“What’s your name?” Dom asked the girl.
“Jessica.” She let out a little giggle. I had no doubt he was touching her beneath the table.
“What the fuck are we supposed to do about this?” Cole whispered to me as I leaned in to listen to him.
“There’s not much we can do. He’s hurting. Pain and grief do fucked up things to people.”
“Then maybe calling it a night is a good idea. He’s trashing Bianca’s memory.” Cole straightened, his Adam’s apple bobbing in his throat.
I let out a sigh and caught Fox’s eye, who gave a slight shake of his head. He was on the same page as the rest of us it seemed. E had been quiet all night and kept checking Rosalie’s location on his phone.
“Are you a good girl, Jessica?” Dom murmured to her. Vincent let out an angry snarl at Dom’s words, and Levin placed his hand over Vincent’s and whispered in his ear.
There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that Vincent and Levin had a far closer relationship with one another than I had with myguys. It didn’t matter though. What mattered was getting them through this nightmare.
“I can be.” Jessica giggled.
“Mm, I like good girls,” Dom’s words were a slur. “Good girls get to sit on my lap. How does that sound?”
She nodded eagerly, and Dom reclined a little in his seat to give her more room.
I cleared my throat. “Maybe we should slow down. We’ve drank a lot.”
He waved me off before he fisted the blonde’s hair and jerked her head to the side. We watched as he kissed her neck. Jessica ate it up. The entire thing made my guts churn.
“I, uh, have more product for you,” E said, clearing his throat. “I can send you with it tonight.”
“Fine,” Dom muttered. He inhaled Jessica and let out a soft grunt.
I assumed he’d chosen her because she was blonde like Bianca was.
“Fuck this. I’m getting another round,” Cole said, getting to his feet. “Shit’s fucked to watch.”
Dom continued to kiss and touch Jessica while we all sat uncomfortably around the table.
His hand moved quicker beneath the table, but it was plain as day he was fingering her. “You ever watch a girl come at your table?” he asked, looking out at us.
“Well, I’ve watchedmygirl come at the table,” Cole said. He placed the drinks he’d brought with him on the table.
“Well, you’re about to watch Jessica come,” Dom said, biting Jessica’s neck. Vincent rose to his feet, his eyes wild and a muscle popping along his jaw. He crawled over E and Fox in a bid to leave the table. Levin let out a curse and followed him out. Dom was left behind with Jessica, us staring at them.
