“I threatened her,” Cole piped up as he sank onto the loveseat with Fox. “Told her I’d shave her head.”

Rosalie shook her head at him. “I’d not let you do that.”

Cole shrugged. “Guess we don’t have to find out, huh, Rosebud?”

Rosalie smirked at him while Jamie looked like she was still nervous about Cole getting too close. He winked at her, making her squirm a little in her seat.

“I’ve missed you so much,” Rosalie said. “I’ve been meaning to call more—”

“You don’t need to explain yourself to me.” Jamie held her hand up to stop Rosalie. “I get it. We get busy. God knows I threw myself into work and school after Spencer and I broke up.”

Rosalie reached out and squeezed her hand. “How are you with it all?”

Jamie shrugged. “Better. It hurts but it’s for the best. We weren’t going in the same direction. How are you with. . . everything?”

I glanced at Cole to see him scowl at me. It didn’t matter how much we loved our girl, I still had those moments of concern over everything and the nagging feeling like I needed to cut her loose.

But she was going to be my wife now, so none of it would matter.

At least that’s what I kept telling myself. I wanted more than anything for Rosalie to have my last name and have her belly swollen with my heir. With the recent shit happening with the kings, those old doubts had crept back into my mind again.

I hated them. Truly.

“I’m good.” Rosalie gave her a grin. “Everything is great.”

“I figured. Let me see that rock.”

Rosalie held her hand out to Jamie who let out a low whisper.

“That’s really impressive. Must have cost a fortune,” Jamie said.

“Price doesn’t matter when it comes to my Sunshine.” I sat on the couch beside her and kissed her temple.

“Can I ask how big that diamond is?” Jamie ventured nervously. “Because I’ve never seen a diamond that big before.”

“It’s a three carat,” I supplied. “Platinum. I wanted to go larger, but I figured she still wanted to lift her finger.”

I caught the look on Fox’s face. I knew he’d asked for her hand from her father. While I hadn’t questioned him on why he’d gone behind our backs and done that, I did keep it in my mind because it had hurt me. It wasn’t like I wanted to hurt him by marrying Rosalie. I just didn’t see any other way that could end well for our relationships.

But I felt like this shit was repetitive, and I was tired of thinking about any of it.

“Let’s give them some time to catch up.” I dropped a kiss atop Rosalie’s head and got to my feet.

“Thank you,” Rosalie said, giving my hand a squeeze.

“Anything for you, my love,” I murmured, running my knuckles along her jaw. She practically melted beneath my touch.

“All of you,” she called out as I moved away from her. “Cole. Ethan. Foxy. Thank you for this.”

“Of course, Rosie,” Fox said, offering her a smile.

E replied by kissing her quickly.

And Cole.

“Baby, you’re everything so you can have anything. We love you. You can, uh, thank us later.” He winked at her, making her blush.

Jamie looked from her to us, her cheeks darkening too.
