“I’m fine.” She laughed. “I’m not going to fall.”
“Still,” I murmured. “I’d much rather help you.”
She squeezed my hand and let me lead her the rest of the way down. When we reached the bottom, Levin was there totake her from me. He shot me a look that said there’d be a fight if I challenged him.
I sighed, letting her go. I couldn’t be her sole focus, so I followed behind them, my heart just a little lighter because she’d told me she loved me and had kissed me.
Levin led her to the table. Vincent slid her chair out for her. I watched while Drake stared at her longingly before slipping into the spot next to her before Levin could.
“Dick tip,” Levin muttered at him.
Drake took it in stride and gave him a wink before bringing Bianca’s hand to his lips and kissing it. She gave him her sweet smile.
Dom quickly served her first before taking the other chair next to her, which was also at the head of the table. I sat beside Vin, who sat next to Dom. Levin took the opposite end of the table from Dom.
It felt surreal to sit around the table, all of us finally with her. Like a damn family.
“I made your favorite,” Dom said, holding up a fork loaded with cheesy ziti.
She parted her lips and took what he offered. The soft moan leaving her lips made my dick jump to life in my jeans.
“You like it,mia regina?”
“Yes. It’s amazing. Thank you.” She rubbed her belly and smiled. “The babies like it too.”
Dom’s grin widened, his eyes glinting with happiness.
Everyone dug in after that, eating and talking.
I couldn’t take my eyes off my girl across the table from me. Whenever she caught me staring, she offered me a sweet smile, a sparkle in her eyes.
Things were finally looking up for us.
Now all that was left was to take out those intent on hurting what we’d fought so hard to have.
No pressure.
CHAPTER 23
Dominic
“What doyou want to watch, B?” Vincent called out, clutching the remote after dinner. They’d polished off my tiramisu in a damn flash.
“Mm, you pick, Vinny,” she said, cuddled up on my lap.
I’d been so fucking excited when she’d chosen to sit with me. I wanted her to feel free to pick whoever she wanted, but I had to admit, her walking past Drake made me feel better about things between me and my queen.
Watching his face fall sucked though.
I was a ruthless asshole, but I also knew what it felt like to have the woman you love not be there with you. In the end, I wanted all of us to get along for Bianca’s sake. Realistically, we had bigger fish to fry, so tearing into one another needed to be avoided. That didn’t make me overjoyed about including Drake in our lives. Hell, even Fallon’s presence still made me leery, but I supposed that was what trauma did to people. It fucked up their perceptions. Fucked up their trust. Now we had to work our asses off to recover.
I was trying.
Hard.
“Let’s watch something funny,” Vin said, surfing through the streaming apps I’d had set up. He chose a comedy about three friends trying to throw theparty of the yearto impress some girls.
We all settled in and watched it in its entirety. When the end credits played, Bianca gave me a soft kiss then untangled herself from me and crossed the room to squeeze between Fallon and Drake. Vin shot me a quick look to make sure I wasn’t going to lose my shit before he checked with Levin, most likely for the same reason.
