He nodded. “Yeah. Levin and Dom don’t know. I promised I wouldn’t say anything to them. I’m sure they’d lose their shit if they found out, though, so I advise you to keep quiet on it. Get your shit together. Stop staring at her. Stop looking so damn sad.”

“Sorry,” I muttered. “It’s just my damn face.”

Vincent grinned at me. “Listen. I got the impression she cares about you despite her kicking your dick in.”

I scoffed. That shit had hurt.

“So what? You’re not going to kick my dick in too?”

“No. Why would I do that?”

“I fucked your girl,” I said in a monotone. “I’d kill the motherfucker who put their dick near my woman.”

Vincent shrugged. “I already know she loves me and the kings. I’m not worried she’d leave us for you. What I am worried about is my girl’s happiness. If you make her happy, I want that for her. So, if we have to bring you in with us, then I’m open to the possibility.”

I stared at him in shock.

Did I hear him correctly?

“What?” I asked, shaking my head. “I don’t understand.”

He sighed. “Listen, Petrov. You brought her back to us. You saved her life a few nights ago. She clearly gives a damn for you. She credits you with keeping her sane. If that doesn’t deserve the girl, then I don’t know what does. So, here’s what I’m proposing. I can deliver her to you so you can talk to her. I did it for her andFallon, and I’ll do it for you as well. But if you fuck this up, I’ll kill you. You interested?” He held his hand out for me to shake.

I stared down at it for a moment, not even sure what the fuck I could say.

If he was just fucking with me. . .

I placed my hand in his. “I’m interested. I won’t fuck it up.”

We shook hands.

“Then you have yourself a deal. We’ll see what we can do without Dom and Levin killing us both.”

I chuckled.

“We have our work cut out for us,” I said.

Vincent’s dark eyes sparkled. “You more than me.”

He was fucking right on that one.

CHAPTER 11

Fallon

“You OK,princess? Do you want some water?” I asked as we sat in the exam room with Bianca. Dom sat on one side of her and me on the other.

“Something to eat? I brought you a snack,” Dom continued, bringing the small bag he’d brought out of the car with him onto his lap and opening it. He pulled out a granola bar, an apple, and a packet of sunflower seeds.

“I’m fine,” Bianca said, a small, tired smile on her pretty face.

“You brought sunflower seeds? What a weird snack,” I said, eyeing the bag Dom held.

“Why do you say they’re weird?” he muttered, stuffing them back into the leather bag. “They’re healthy and good for Bianca and the babies.”

I shrugged. “I’ve just never seen a man with a purse and sunflower seeds.”

“You ever seen a man with a gun and afuck you, Vasilievattitude?” Dom snapped back, his green eyes flashing.
