“I think I’m stuck on the shifter,” I called out amid a laugh from Grace as I tried to climb over to her seat in my Jeep. I struggled for a moment before breaking free.

“Mm, I liked watching you struggle,” she said, kissing me as I settled next to her in the small space. I’d driven us out to the woods we’d been to before.

“I bet you do,” I teased, kissing her lips.

She fell into the kiss easily, making my heart thrash like mad in my chest.

“I love you,” I said softly.

“I love you too.” She moved her hand beneath my shirt as I skimmed mine up her legs.

“I’m so sorry for everything, Gracie. You’re it for me. You know?”

“I know,” she said, nuzzling against me.

I cleared my throat and reached to the backseat and pulled a gift out for her.

“You got me something?” Her eyes lit up.

“You’re going to love it,” I said as she tore into the package. I watched as she stared down at the birthday Barbie in the box. It was the same one I’d wrecked on her when we were kids. It had taken me a lot of online shopping and bidding to get it, but I’d managed it.

“You-my birthday Barbie?” she whispered, looking at me with tears in her eyes.

“It even has a head,” I said with a soft chuckle.

She threw her arms around me as I caught the box and placed it on the driver’s seat and hugged her.

“Come here.” I pulled her as close as possible and pushed the strap of her dress down her shoulder, relishing in the goosebumps which popped up along her skin as I touched her.

It didn’t take long for me to strip her bare and her to help me out of my clothes. I dipped my fingers into her wet heat as she moaned against my lips. I managed to get the seat reclined and us shifted so she was beneath me.

“Me and you?” she asked, staring up at me as I settled between her legs.

“Me and you, Gracie. Always.” I pushed forward into her, making her groan softly.

Lips on lips. Flesh to flesh. Heart to heart. I poured my soul into everything as I kissed her and made love to the girl of my dreams.

“Logan,” she gasped as she tightened around me.

I pistoned faster, kissing her, wanting to make her feel good. Moments later, she erupted around me, my name falling softly from her lips. It didn’t take long before I joined her on the spiral, my release rushing out of me like a tidal wave.

I balanced over her, panting, my forehead to hers as she gazed up at me.

“Mm, I think you owe me one more,” she giggled, raking her nails down my back.

“I owe you way more, but we’ll start there,” I said, already ready for round two and whatever else she wanted from me because Grace Matthews owned every part of me.

And I was definitely OK with that.

LOGAN

Four Years Later

“I’m driving!” Grace snagged my keys out of my hand as she raced past me.

I let out a laugh and rushed to catch her, grabbing her before she made it to my new Jeep. I hauled her into my arms and buried my face in her neck, kissing her as she laughed and wiggled against me.
