“How do you know?” I demand. “Is this something all females know or just from your planet?”

Her smile widens, and she covers my heart with her hand. “I guess that’s something you’re going to have to work out on your own.”

She wriggles at little, and my secondary cock pops free of her gorgeous heat, causing me to release a groan.

“Oh, you wanted to stay in there did you?” She laughs.

“I always want to be inside you, sweet Izzy. It is a special place.”

She places both hands on my chest, rising above me, and my cocks are already rising to the occasion again, something which surprises and delights me.

An expression flits over her face, one I can’t work out at all. There is a smile in there somewhere, so I decide it has to be good.

“I’m going to get cleaned up,” she says. “Before we get thrown out of here.”

Before I can stop her, she has pushed past the curtain which hides us from the rest of the eating establishment and is gone, leaving me with aching cocks which do not wish to be pushed back into pants. Grumbling, I heave them back on and pick at the remains of the food until the heavy fabric is thrown back.

“He’s in here!” Rych bellows over his shoulder before he throws himself down next to our meal and starts eating the leftovers.

I’m about to pounce on him when Maxym and Klynn appear.

“And here are we, thinking our fellow gladiator was mortally wounded, only to find him in Solyom stuffing his face,” Maxym says, shaking his feathers.

I growl at all of them, holding my wings high and unsheathing my claws to their fullest extent.

“I was wounded, no thanks to any of you,” I manage to say through fangs which are far too large for my mouth.

Rych is scenting the air and as Izzy appears from the rear of the eatery, I’m already upon him, slamming his head into the table and shoving the shoulder of my wing into his chest.

“Blayn!”

It’s too late. She’s already among the other Gryn, and before I can do anything, she brings down a metal pot on Rych’s head.

Which is when he makes a mistake which will be fatal. He snarls.

In an instant, I have Izzy in my arms, but she’s too busy looking at the plaster over my wound. It means I can’t get to Rych in order to end the vrexer.

“You know what the medic said.” She looks up at me, one hand resting on my abdomen. “No fighting.”

Maxym snorts. “That’s one order he’s bound to disobey, among all the rest he ignores.”

I cup her cheek. “Did he hurt you?” I ask, ignoring the others.

“Who?”

“Rych, the vrexer on the floor.”

Her gaze doesn’t move from mine. “No.”

“She vrexing hurt me,” Rych grumbles, rubbing his head, wing feathers pricked.

“Like anything could get through your thick head.” Maxym laughs.

“I’m fine, Blayn, I promise. But you shouldn’t be fighting.” Water hovers in Izzy’s eyes.

I lift my head and snarl at the others. “I shouldn’t be fighting, so vrex off.”

“Is she actually touching Blayn?” Klynn asks, inspecting a blade he’s conjured from somewhere about his person.
