As soon as my last meeting wrapped up, I was in my Maserati, flying down the road. I had to get it cleaned after kidnapping Mya, but it was worth it. When I stepped into the villa, I was pleasantly surprised to see my Nonna waiting for me in one of the living rooms.
I stepped into the room, fiddling with my glove, my presence immediately breaking the flow of conversation. I walked up to my Nonna, gave her two kisses, and she drew me into a hug.
“What brings you here, Nonna?” She rarely turned up at the villa, since she had her own home that she loved and cared for.
“I’m here to plan with your bride, and she wants your sister-in-law’s advice.” My Nonna frowned at having to mention Eden.
Like I said, my family wasn’t thrilled with my brother’s new bride. My fiancée was fitting in just fine. My family loved her, and I couldn’t wait to finish up these nuptials. With her by my side, I wouldn’t feel as crazy.
She could help hide whatever this was. Maybe she even had some medication that would take care of it, and make the symptoms go away. I liked that idea over all the other ones. I just needed to get through the wedding, and build trust with her.
Once I did, she would do whatever I wanted, I’d bet.
“I can go check on them, and see if she’s about ready to finish up.”
My Nonna nodded.
“In the meantime, prop your feet up, and I’ll have the servant grab you something to nibble on.” If there was one person I loved in my entire family, it would be my Nonna.
I wanted her to live well while she still had time on this planet.
I sent off my orders before trailing upstairs. The women were in Mya’s temporary office, which was my real one. I watched the cameras as they spoke, but didn’t turn the sound on.
I didn’t really care about whatever marital problems Eden and Silas were having. Maybe she was finding life a little more bearable, with him doing his time in the basement. I felt bad that he was down there, but he must’ve pushed me really hard to remain down there so long.
And something within me refused to let him out.
I ignored those feelings, and focused on my little mouse. It looked like she was wrapping up her wedding planning chat. I closed the app on my phone and knocked on the door.
Mya’s voice sounded surprised. “Come in.”
Both women turned to look at the door, and their faces of shock almost made me want to chuckle. Eden squeaked past me,leaving me alone with my woman. I held back what I wanted to say and took in her beauty.
Her dark skin gleamed underneath the lights, and I approached her slowly. My cock hardened from her scent as she shied away from me. Fuck, this woman. Beauty and brains wrapped in a delicious dark wrapper. I wanted to devour her.
“W-what are you doing?” she whispered, her dark eyes fluttering as I reached out to grip her throat in my gloved hand.
“Feeling you,” I murmured, caressing my thumb against her erratic heartbeat. At least, I was trying as best I could.
My cock seemed to throb in time with her heart. I gripped her throat harder and dragged her face toward mine. She had plenty of time to wiggle out of my hold, but she didn’t.
Her breath hitched, and she let out a shaky, “N-no.”
I leaned in, my lips brushing against her ear, silencing her protests with my presence. “Mya,” I murmured, “you’re making this harder than it has to be.” My hand slid higher, tracing slow circles on her skin, feeling her shiver under my protected touch.
Her breaths quickened, her body instinctively leaning into me, despite the fight I knew was raging in her head. “Sebastian-” Her voice cracked, and that was all the invitation I needed.
I kissed her neck, feeling the way her pulse raced beneath my lips. She tilted her head back, giving in just a little, her resistance crumbling like it always did when I touched her like this. I smirked against her skin, trailing my mouth down her throat, my gloved hands pulling her closer until she was practically in my lap.
“You know this feels right,” I whispered, my lips hovering over hers, teasing. “You and me, us, we don’t have to fight it.”
Her hands gripped my shoulders, nails digging in as if she was trying to keep some semblance of control, but her body betrayed her. She leaned into me, her lips parting, just enough to give me what I wanted.
I kissed her, slow and deep, savoring the way she melted into me, all thoughts of arguing or resisting slipping away. My gloved hands slid under her shirt, exploring the skin I knew was soft, and that I wished I could feel better, while her breath came in shallow gasps. I pushed her back onto the desk, making a mess as I cleared it. I hovered over her, drinking in the sight of her, flushed and wanting.
“We’ve got to be quick,” I whispered, biting her neck.
She let out a loud moan, arching her back. I slapped my hand across her mouth. “Be quiet,” I hissed in her ear. “You don’t want my Nonna to hear, do you?”
