"I want you to come one more time, baby. Can you do that?" he asked as he continued to plunge into her core deeply over and over.

"Yes," she moaned, her release building in her again.

"Are you close?"

"Yes," she cried.

She was close but still needed something, and she didn’t know what it was, but Cash did. Because of course he did. His thumb slid in from her hip until it was slightly pressing on her tight ring.

“Is this okay?” he asked, checking in with her.

“Yes,” she panted.

His thumb ran along where he was still fucking her gathering wetness. Then he pressed the tip of his thumb into her ass. She had never felt anything like it before. She felt so full. A loud moan left her lips right before she convulsed and shook through the biggest orgasm she’d ever had.

His other hand gripped on her ass tightened and somehow his thrusts got even harder. "Cash," she called out her entire body riding waves of pleasure took over.

"Fuck," Cash groaned as slammed into her one last time and pulsed deep inside her.

He collapsed onto her, peppering her shoulder in kisses while she tried to catch her breath.

"Damn, Evie. That was amazing," he said, finally pushing off of her. As he slid out, she ached at his absence. She wasn't sure when Cash had come to mean so much to her, but he had. Somewhere over the last couple weeks he had become a vital part of her life. As much as that scared her, she couldn't help it. Part of her heart belonged to Cash Hawthorn, hockey's bad boy.

He came back to her from the kitchen. She assumed he went to dispose of the condom, but she was still so out of it she couldn't be sure of anything right now.

"Ya doing okay, baby girl?"

When she looked up at him, he was smirking at her, and somehow that look managed to piss her off because she should barely breathe and he looked cool as a cucumber, but in reality, it didn’t piss her off, it warmed her down to her soul.

She did take this moment to fully appreciate his naked body in a way she never had before. He was big and muscular. While his muscles weren’t super defined, you could tell they were there. His arms were covered in tattoos, and he had a couple on his chest. He was the total opposite of Bryan and everything she had never known she wanted. But if she had Cash, like she was starting to trust she did, she was never going to let him go.

"Let's go upstairs," he said as he came and took her by the hand.

They made it up to her bedroom and got into her bed. When she snuggled into him, her head on his chest, she had never felt this before. She just laid there smiling softly and listening to his heartbeat, which to her surprise matched hers exactly.

"You've yet to say anything yet, baby,” he whispered. “Are you good?"

"Perfect," was all she could get out, and she meant it.

He stroked her hair as he lay there in her bed. "I wish you could stay the night."

"Me too, but I need to clear that with River first. I'm sorry. It kills me to leave you, but I'm not going anywhere for a while," he said as he pressed a sweet kiss to her temple.

"It's okay," she said as she turned her face to look at him. "I kind of like the fact that you stepped up and took in your nephew. While I would never dream of calling you nice," she said with a grin as he cocked his eyebrow at her. "I will say that you’re a good man."

Their eyes connected as they lay there, enjoying each other’s presence. The world fell away and all that existed was in this room. He sighed and Evie couldn't help but notice the glassy quality of his eyes. Whatever it was that existed between them was real, and it felt like pure magic. She didn't know exactly when it happened, but she knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, she was in love with this man. She only hoped he felt the same way.

She kissed him and tried to pour her feelings into it. She was still feeling a little guilty about what she had done. She needed to find a way to stop running from this and trust him. He had never done anything to make her feel anything less than beautiful and like he was anything less than one hundred percent into this.

He gave a soft moan and opened to her slow kiss. They kissed for what seemed like forever, but that wouldn’t be long enough to kiss him. His hands started to explore her body and hers did the same, trying to learn him by feel alone. While she refused to think about the countless people he had been with, she knew he hadn’t been like this with many people. These slow kisses and soft searching hands were all hers.

He turned her so he was leaning on his side facing her. His hands ran over the soft curve of her hips and pulled one of her legs over his. It was then she felt him stiff and poking into her belly. She broke the kiss and smiled at him.

"Again, so soon?"

"What can I say, baby girl? You're magic. I'm always ready for you."

And with that his kiss turned a bit more purposeful. He rolled her onto her back and caged himself over her, still kissing her deliciously slowly as he explored her body. She had been ready again since they started kissing. They could have been kissing for minutes or hours, nothing existed but them, and that was just fine with her.
