I lost it right then and there, screaming my fool head off as I came, throbbing on him. He didn’t let up. He only worked me harder until I saw stars when I came again. But it was too much. My body couldn’t contain this kind of pleasure.

Julian didn’t back off, even when I tried to crawl away. The playful growl in his voice set me on edge. “Where do you think you’re going?” He yanked me to him and rolled me onto my back again. He kneeled and pulled me onto his lap. Before he entered me again, he asked, “Need to stop?”

I’d barely started to shake my head when he pulled me onto his cock, his hands bracing my low back so all I had to do was loop my arms around his neck. I was a little sore but I wasn’t about to stop. Not when it felt this good.

He bounced me on his length and rearranged us until I was riding him in earnest while he laid back. Thunder rumbled in his chest as he studied me. He reached up, flicking his thumb over my tight nipple. “I love watching your tits bounce like that.”

He popped his hips up, almost knocking me off balance. I laughed nervously as he grinned and sat up. Jules cupped my jaw, and that same naughty thumb rubbed over my bottom lip before he bit me there. The slight pain drove me closer to another orgasm as I rode him harder. His other hand found my low back and pressed down as he cocked himself up, the added pressure sending my body raging. My moans became sobs as my body spasmed, and I climaxed again.

He growled and I felt his cock thicken inside of me. “That’s it, dirty girl. You’re gonna make me come.” I fell apart at his warning, another orgasm taking over. Something animalistic thundered out of him as he came inside of me.

Julian devoured my mouth until we had to catch our breath. We held still, bound together like that. Sweat poured down my back. I should have been exhausted, but I wanted more. We pride ourselves apart, both of us collapsing on the bed.

It should have been awkward but it wasn’t. Julian spooned me like it was the most natural thing in the world, we fit together perfectly. One arm rested on my waist while the other was my headrest. He planted kisses along my bare shoulder.

I broke the silence. “This is weird, right?”

He stiffened up. “How so?”

“Weird because it isn’t weird. Me and you, I mean. Like it should be weird but it’s not. I don’t get it.”

He relaxed again. “Do you always look for problems?”

“We’re not a couple, Jules. It’s been years, we don’t know each other as adults. Yet I still feel comfortable with you. Even after all this time, after what we just did.”

“That’s unusual for you?”

I bobbed my head. “Sex can be awkward, even for a couple. But there’s nothing awkward here. It feels… strange.”

He laughed. “It feels strange because it’snotawkward? Do you always look for problems?”

“Okay, maybe, but how else am I supposed to anticipate things? When you let your guard down, life disappoints you.”And by life, I mean people.

“Then let’s make tonight a one-time thing. This doesn’t need to be something with expectations. It’s one night of fun, and by the sound of things, we both need something without pressure attached to it.”

“That’s such a guy thing to suggest.”

Another chuckle. “Well, I am a guy, so…”

I rolled over to face him. “You’re sure that’s what you want? A one-night stand?”

He went quiet for a beat. “That’s the standard operating procedure for reunion hook-ups, isn’t it?”

“Right.” It was good we were being straight with each other. I’d never had a true one-night stand before, and it always sounded better than a relationship. Less pressure, like he said. I know a one-night stand can be seen as being used but as long as it’s mutual, which, in this case, it is, I don’t see anything wrong with it. Honesty is best for most things, especially in this case. “No promises to call, no future plans. Just fun.”

Again, he took a moment to answer. “Exactly.”

“You know, there are all kinds of things we can do in one night.”

He smiled wryly. “Show me.”

So, I did.

Chapter 8

Julian

In the morning, I needed more of her.
