“Of course! I look forward to hearing from you,” I said happily and bid him goodbye as I went to gather my belongings.

Upon exiting the hospital, I was face to face with the man himself as he stood by his car, illuminated by the light of the night sky. He quickly walked over to me to grab my many bags and books, placing them in the backseat. He then turned to me and pulled me into his embrace as I wrapped my arms around his neck.

“Tesoro mio, you’ve had such a long and productive day. I’m sure you are hungry and tired, hmmm?” he asked, and I nodded, as my head was tucked in the crook of his neck.

“Just a little,” I whispered, taking in his scent as he ran his hand up and down my back.

This man was too cuddly and caring to do anything to anyone. He wouldn’t do anything dangerous for a living.

Then what does he do?

“Mmmm... and I know you’re going to try to open that book the second you get a chance, sí?” he asked, and I blushed as he knew me all too well.

“Maybe... It’s just that we have another test coming up soon and I want to be ready.”

“With all your overplanning, I’m sure you’ll do the best in the class. Now, let’s start heading to my place,” he said, pulling away, before he opened the passenger door for me.

Soon, we drove in a comfortable silence as I played with the rings of his fingers that rested rather possessively on my thigh.

After stopping under a light, Levi’s voice filled the silence.

“You know, Tesoro,” he said as he moved his hand to my inner thigh, slowly caressing it. I blushed heavily as he turned his head to me for a moment. “You didn’t answer my question from earlier,” he muttered, and I bit my lip as the light turned green, and he retracted his hand… leaving my skin feeling hot.

“Guess I’ll have to find out tonight when you get your reward for doing such a good job today,” he muttered, his gaze remaining on the road.

I looked over at him slowly as I unconsciously rubbed my knee. “Reward?” I questioned him softly, and he grabbed my hand and placed a kiss on the back of it.

“It’s just that you’ve been working so hard, going to school, to the hospital, studying… I thought it would be nice if you were...rewardedfor how well you’re doing. That is if you want it—”

“I want it,” I blurted out accidentally.

Levi simply chuckled as he placed another kiss on my hand.

“Hmmm...Greedy girl.In that case, you are going to love the night I have planned for you, baby.”

As I sat at Levi’s dining room table, I was immersed in both the architecture of his penthouse as well as the chicken alfredo he served me twenty minutes ago.

Standing all day just to study all night was kinda a bummer, but I was almost done, and the food definitely made it better. Levi had to excuse himself a few minutes ago and was currently wandering around somewhere as he had to take a call.

After finishing my food and placing the dishes in the sink, I decided to take a look around to find him. My feet padded through his home softly as I took another glance at each room. Upon entering the hallway, I found his office door open to see him rummaging through a file cabinet.

I waited patiently for him to notice me, and when he did, he closed the drawer and walked over to me.

“How was your dinner, Tesoro?” he asked, approaching me slowly.

“It was delicious. I loved it.”

He nodded his head and wrapped his arms around my waist. “Have you almost finished your work?” he asked, and I nodded. “Do you need any help with your flashcards?” he questioned, and I crossed my arms playfully.

“You just want to play the game where you deny me my rightfully earned kisses.”

“Well, you’re not wrong there, Tesoro. If only you knew how adorable you look, debating about whether or not you earned enough,” he simply replied, and I blushed as I looked up at him.

“Does my reward have a kiss involved?”

He chuckled. “No, not yet. In fact...” he muttered as he grabbed my hand and walked me over to his desk. I let out a small gasp as he picked me up by the waist and placed me on the top of the desk.

“Why don’t I show you your reward right now.”
