“And it looks like it’s none of us.” Brody steps out of the way, casually motioning for the door.

Marie scoffs, tying her trench coat closed again. “You guys are assholes,” she curses, then storms out of my office.

Chance waits for her to get on the elevator before coming at me. “What the fuck was that, Noah?” He drops down on the couch with a heavy thump, palming his still hard dick through his pants. I’m sure his cock is aching, just as mine is, but it had to be done.

I blow out a frustrated breath and rest my elbows on my knees, rubbing my temples with my thumbs. Marie was supposed to be an outlet, a way for us to blow off some steam and forget about Selena. But how could I forget her when she saw everything?

And I’m the sick bastard who wanted her to watch.

“Just didn’t feel right.” I give him a half-assed excuse.

“She saw us, didn’t she?” Brody interrupts.

I don’t look up at my friend, wanting to avoid his judgment.

“Who did?” Chance has yet to catch on. And for someone who’s so fucking smart, his confusion is annoying right now.

But Brody answers before I can. “Selena saw us, you jackass. You think I’d turn down sex for anyone else?”

We both look at him, realizing what he’s just admitted. But it’s the same thing we all feel, so none of us should be surprised.

“Fuck,” Chance hisses.

I pin my friend with a hard stare. “Yeah.Fuck.”

Brody crosses his arms over his chest. “So, what do we do now? Talk to her? Try to explain?”

“Why the fuck would we do that? What’s to explain?” I ask. “Sorry, you caught us trying to fuck some rando in the office. Wanna join us next time?” I mock while he glares at me.

“I don’t think we should say shit to her. Let’s see if she comes to us. Maybe she won’t say anything and it’ll blow over.” Chance is hopeful, but I’m not holding my breath.

I rise from my seat and move to the front of my desk. “The fact remains that we can’t fuck our assistant?—”

“I don’t see why not. We’re all fucking adults,” Brody mutters.

I ignore him. “Regardless of how we feel about her, wecan’tsleep with the girl,” I declare. “But I still agree we need to release some sexual tension before one of us does something stupid.”

“I think that ship has sailed,” Chance snarks.

“Fuck it. We’re going to the club tonight.” I point at both my friends. “And no more bringing anyone back to the office. It was stupid and careless.”

They both mumble their agreement.

The room is silent for a few moments before Brody asks, “Did you see where she went?” His concern for Selena is strong, and I know he’s itching to talk to her and make sure she’s all right.

“Just trust me that she saw too much and got the fuck outta here.” I’m not telling them that I’m an asshole who wanted her to see us. That I dared her to stay and it’s my fault she’s upset right now. Both of them would kick my ass for that, and I can’t say I wouldn’t deserve it.

I’ll figure out a way to smooth things over with her. But first, I need to get her out of my system.

SELENA

“Apparently, we had different values. I valued commitment and she valued fucking my best friend,” he quips, and I pretend to care.

How much longer do I have to listen to this guy?

I met Daniel on a dating app and we decided to grab coffee before I headed into work. But I’m currently regretting that decision, as throughout our date, he seems to only want to talk about himself or his ex-girlfriend. Clearly, he’s not over her.
