“When I was delivering everyone’s gifts,” I laughed, holding my whole life in my arms.
For the first time in my life, I felt the true meaning of Christmas and what it felt like to be loved. I guess you could say I came around.

EPILOGUE: TWO MONTHS LATER
NOELLE
In the blink of an eye, my life turned into everything I ever wanted.
“Oh shit…” I expressed, looking at the bright pink positive stick in my hand. “Oh God… Nicholas,” I shouted.
It didn’t take long for him to walk into the bathroom with what looked like a letter in his hand. His awestruck eyes went from the letter to the pregnancy test in my hand.
“Oh, wow…” He smiled wide. “A puppy and a baby… those are quite the gifts.”
“Yeah…” That was all I could muster.
I mean, I was happy.
Stunned but happy.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” I asked with caution.
It was only then that he handed me the letter.
There in front of my eyes was the reason he was acting so funny and nonchalant about me being pregnant.
I couldn’t believe it.
