I let out a breath, knowing there’s no way I’m winning this. “Alright, but no making fun of me when I suck.”
“I would never.”
We’ll see about that. I think he’s underestimating just how bad I am.
We’re five games in when Cole finally lets out the laugh he’s been holding in.
I collapse back, my head connecting with the back of the sofa. “I warned you.”
“Warned him of what?” Griffin says, entering the room. He has another few cans of beer he doles out to each of us.
I groan, covering my eyes with my hands. “That I suck at video games.”
The feeling of a large presence leaning over me fills my senses, as the rich scent of forest fills my nose with each breath. The sensation of Cole at my side and Griffin over me has my head growing fuzzy.
Large, rough fingers wrap around my wrist and gently pull my hands away. “Let me help you kick his ass.”
“What? How?” My brain is still fuzzy, but even in this state, what he’s saying doesn’t make sense.
Griffin glances at Cole. “Move over.”
“I was here first,” Cole argues, not budging.
They do their silent communication thing, somehow both knowing what happens next. I, on the other hand, gasp when Griffin slides his arms under me, one behind my back, the other beneath my knees, and lifts me into the air. He takes my seat on the sofa, settling me on his lap, facing the TV. I stiffen, worry traveling through me until my gut churns, but one glance at Cole has my nerves calming.
“Relax, he’s a skilled teacher.” He gently squeezes my thigh before holding his controller and turns back to the screen. “Let’s go, old man.”
Griffin’s laugh reverberates through my back, his breath sending tingles down my spine as he speaks into my ear. “Hold on to my wrists.”
I grip each of his thick wrists in each hand as he holds the remote nimbly.
“Like this?” I ask.
“That’s it, Baby Girl.”
Griffin’s heat envelops me as the game starts. He shifts as he plays, moving with his player. When he leans forward, his thighs tense under my ass, and my core presses intoit. I suck in a breath, and I swear I hear a low rumble from him. I go to lift myself, mortification setting in, but Griffin’s elbows tighten around me, holding me in place. With each of his movements, the friction grows until my core is wet, and my clit aches to be touched. If I leaned over just a little, I’d be able to get what my body craves.
“Eve, are you paying attention?” Cole asks from beside me.
“What?” I rasp, feeling like I’ve been caught in the act.
The room fills with laughter. “You won. What were you thinking about that you were so lost in thought?”
I can feel my cheeks heat. There’s no way I can answer that question honestly.
Griffin’s fingers wrap around my waist as he lifts me to my feet. “Sounds like your girl’s tired. Why don’t you take her to bed?”
I sway on my feet, and Cole catches me easily. Why does everything they say sound so seductive?
Cole’s deep eyes meet mine. “Is that it? Are you tired?” He brushes a strand of my hair behind my ear and whispers into it. “I don’t think that’s it.”
I shiver, goose bumps rising where his breath touched me. I have no response, so I bury my face in his chest to hide the way I’m responding.
“I’ve got you,” Cole says moments before hauling me over his shoulder and spanking my ass.
I squeak, breath caught in my throat. “What was that for?”
“You know what,” he growls and moves through the space easily, going to our room despite supporting my weight.
